It’s a modern mythology novel about what happens when you accidentally summon a primordial god, featuring LGBT+ characters and a narrator who refuses to be serious.
“You’re the one who invoked me and made a blood sacrifice,” the man growled, taking another step towards Elliott.
“Excuse me? I did no such thing,” they responded, standing their ground this time.
“Did so! You yelled, ‘Oh god!’ then proceeded to bleed all over the hillside.”
“That’s what you call an invocation?!”
It also includes some historical fiction chapters, in which we learn more about the backstory and mythology of the titular god.

She had been a god and a goddess, a place, a void, and according to Ovid, a shapeless mass of primordial matter from which all of existence had formed.
