Design is based on a blanket doll. The head is meant to be a "dream cloud" shape. The "Blanket" is tied up with a sort of scarf-like cloth which forms the neck and arms. Not a ribbon. Cuz ribbons is Gangle's thing, and I wanted the arms to be a bit thicker than a ribbon is anyways.
Drea's whole theming and story ties a lot into Dreams, Wishes, Ideals, Hopes, and The Unconscious. And allegories to sleep disorders, chronic fatigue.
As well as allegories to the freedom and comfort that the Internet and Fiction can bring to the housebound/ bedbound disabled. But also the limitations of that.
I personally think Drea's design reflects all of that rather well!
... yeah I'll straight up admit Drea is largely a self insert type OC im using to work through some stuff. I'm pretty sure most of TADC's characters are Gooseworx doing the same so honestly I think TADC is like. Perfect for that sort of thing XD.

Reason for coming to CnA: Occasionally liked to do Urbexing as a less intensive version of older adrenaline junkie type hobbies they can no longer do due since becoming disabled.
Avatar: Glow-in-the-dark skeleton in ripped Pirate attire.
Avatar Gimmick/s: As mentioned above, their bones glow in the dark. Can pull off their head and have their body move independently of it.
Breath-Holding Quirk: A tinny sounding stereotypical jaunty pirate theme plays in chiptune.
Personality: Determined and patient, yet a curious and adventurous adrenaline junkie at heart. A showman/ theater kid type, he has a talent for telling stories. Not afraid of vulnerability but is more worn down and tired than he usually let on. Hates feeling useless but accepts that letting people assist is it's own kind of helpful. Had to learn about the value of being Strong In A Different Way, and to make his own light when there seemed to be nothing but darkness. Tends to take a "supportive but playfully cheeky" big brother type of role towards people younger than him.
Not the biggest fan of authority, and tends to treat Rules as Suggestions. Can and WILL push themselves too far, and prone to being stubborn. Self-aware about this.
Bio: Granjon would not be the person they are today if it were not for his "crew", his three best friends he basically considered family. They are the ones who have helped him not fall apart and refused to let him isolate himself during some terrible times of his life. Like after his diagnosis of Fibrous Dysplasia (a genetic illness that results in weak bones and pain). After the loss of his job as a mechanic, and the loss of his home sometime afterwards. Not to mention not being able to partake in a lot of his more active hobbies like mountain climbing, fencing and motor biking.
Theodore gave him a place to stay. Birju pulled some strings to get him a new job. Aisha helped him find new hobbies that he could enjoy even with significantly reduced mobility and funds. They all played DnD together every week. Often played poker too when they all out for drinks together. They all loved the retro arcade place that he works at now and would often hang out there. They started a band together, just for fun. Birju recently proposed to Aisha. This crew was everything to Jackie Granjon.
He can't even remember their names.
And Granjon would trade away his new body that doesn't hurt and bones that can't break and this life of endless adventure and excitement in an instant, just to see them again just one more time.
But, after everything else life has thrown at him, however much he has been worn down, however much life has already tried to kill him, he still keeps going. He never has let himself give up before, and he refuses to do so now.
And Granjon is not going to let any of his new crew give up either.

[In any case, I do think SSP's voice would sound a lot like Princess Gwen's, they speak with a very similar intonation. To those who have read any of my SSP RP's, have a lil listen to some of Gwen's voicelines and tell me you can't hear SSP in them:]

[But I will admit I did always see her as being a similar type of person to Terra (tsams version of Earth). Basically if Terra and Solar Flare somehow had a kid, someone like SSP would be the result.]

Her natural curiosity, tendency to burn through a lot of different hobbies and general affinity for metaphorically poking weird things she sees with sticks, means shes acquainted with a wide variety of unusual people.
She just generally prefers to do things herself if possible.
