Cas should have done more celestial horror type shit when communicating with Dean, more strange dreams that are just vibes (rancid), more tv static that almost looks like a face, almost sounds like a voice, but not. Weird voices on the radio, familiar songs but the lyrics are wrong, people walking up to him and saying 'Im sorry but I just had the strangest feeling that I needed to tell you that you're in danger', more lights popping and buzzing and flickering going out when he's on the wrong path, glowing brighter when he's going where Cas wants, and Dean the whole time Dean is rolling his eyes and huffing and pulling his hair like "DUDE! STOP BEING MYSTERIOUS I NEED ANSWERS?"

i’m not even that much of a pervert i can just find the eroticism in anything. doesn’t get me bricked up necessarily i just like to appreciate it.

Dean cannot stand his endverse self and sure endverse Cas may unsettle him, but he still likes him, he's still drawn to him and relaxed around him in a way he isn't with himself because endverse Dean is everything he loathes about who he is/could be. Crucially I think Cas would be exactly the same. I think Cas would hate his endverse self, would focus on the faults that he already sees in himself displayed by his mirror, early seasons Cas especially would hate seeing himself fall, but I think he would be so fond of endverse Dean. And endverse Dean would be equally as fond of Cas. Like yeah it would be complicated and painful to see how circumstances can change someone you know so well (Dean particularly is afraid of endverse Cas's blatant nihilism), but that's still their best friend. Just two guys full of self loathing and love for each other, you know?

Supernatural had so little imagination adding new characters to the hunter community. Almost all of them became boring fighters. Where are the medics/healers to keep hunters from being wiped out ? Where are the journalist who help with finding new cases? Where are the researchers who study monsters on a deeper level than just "how do we kill that thing"? Wayward Sisters tried to make things different with Alex and Patience, but it got cancelled and we came back to the boring hunters. Such a shame.

I think Sam and Eileen should have ended up trying to build a real hunter community where people would have had different jobs: lawyers to defend hunters who got caught by the police, therapists to help hunters with trauma, scientists to better understand monsters, etc. It would have been so cool.
