my god, this unholy string. my god, the pull between us. how human and stupid. how godly and beautiful. a person loves another person and they’re both changed for it. a person loves another person and they’re both worse for it. they have been lonely and it shows. they have been brave and it shows. they twist their arms, hold their bruised wrists out as proof. they pour perfume into the cut. it stings but when they walk by, all you smell are flowers.
