Miclarith!!

I promised Miclarith fanart for pride month so this is honestly super late and last minute (technically its still june 30th in some timezones but still). But hey! We do not stop existing the minute june is over so hell yeah!

I also promised Lilikana but I procrastinated too much and I couldn’t think of a pose for them that I liked and also that wasn’t super sad, so I’ll draw them later as a belated piece (I apologize as someone who genuinely loves Lilikana more than any other EC ship 😭🥲)

Ik I don’t typically talk about Mikuluka on here but someone should totally draw them as the “Screw Bella” meme in the context and outfits of Acute, because yeah in that particular universe? Screw Kaito, yuri would have solved everything.

Rajih is an extremely underrated character in the lust arc and I wanted to bring up the parallel I personally read between him and Venomania. Because in this arc there are several instances of characters having feelings for a person who is implied or perceived to not return those affections. The arc overall has an underlying theme of one sided feelings amongst its other themes. The obvious and darkest examples are obviously Venomania lusting after and pursuing all of these women that don’t actually want him and him taking their wills away to have his way with them. As well as the entire love triangle between Gumina, Cherubim and OG Sateriasis (Cherubim perceiving himself as the one with one sided feelings but then it turning out that Og Sateriasis was the one with one sided feeling all along)

When it comes down to it though, a huge part of Venomania as a character is that no matter how gently or how harshly it was delivered to him, he ultimately could not handle rejection, leading him to the vile things he did in the story, even before he had completely lost himself into arrogant self delusion and completely monstrosity. Where Venomania couldn’t handle rejection, Rajih represents acceptance. Its left up to interpretation whether Lilien ever reciprocated his feelings before being brainwashed but that doesn’t take away from the fact that throughout the manga, he sees Lilien falling for Sateriasis, therefore making him perceive his own feelings as unrequited, and yes, he is implied to feel jealous and hurt, but despite all that, his actions are all motivated by genuine care for Lilien rather than bitterness. Rajih was able to see that the woman he loved romantically likely didn’t feel that way about him and still cared about her as a person and as his friend, respecting her autonomy and feelings as a human being. Sateriasis ultimately did not, (even if he had genuine feelings beyond lust for her) not with Gumina, and not with any of the women who were his victims.

On a reddit post I brought up the subject of possible headcanons regarding specific vocaloid voicebank tunings/tones/pitches for EC character voices and one particular comment brought up the likely accents the characters would have, which in turn led me to mention that I had often wondered if some particularly skilled voicebank expert had ever tried manipulating the voices into speaking in different accents (honestly idek if thats possible but yeah), particularly how the one I had been thinking about the most was Meiko being tuned and edited to speak in a european spanish accent to represent Banica in reference to how Beelzenia is mostly based on Spain.

And now I really wanna see the gluttony arc adapted into a spanish telenovela where Banica speaks in that extremely dramatized version of the castillian accent the way you see it in media. (Honestly I could see many european spanish accents and dialects fitting Banica but for this, I need it to be castillian because thats the accent most commonly used in media and I need it to be as dramatic as possible)

for a request, Yufina Marlon please?

Ofc! I’m a big fan of when fan designs give Yufina tudor attire but upon finishing the doodle, since this isn’t colored and since she doesn’t really have a canon design to go off (aside from that one shot in waltz of the department , I realized she could easily be confused for basically any famous tudor female figure who wore the french hood at the time, so I attempted to make it a little more unique with the visible details on her hair and by putting the marlon crest on her pendant/brooch (I’m aware it doesn’t really look like that, just pretend its extremely zoomed out because the drawing is pretty small after all), so I apologize if this isn’t the most creative fan design for her, but I hope it’s alright atleast. She deserves more love! 😭
