Off To The Ball (by Laura Yazdi) Running down the stairs I felt as if I was Cinderella running to catch her pumpkin carriage to the ball with this beautiful Alfred Sung floral dress flowing behind me in the light breeze. This dress was another love-at-first-sight ordeal (that happens a lot.) It is such a classy dress and imagine my delight when I realized it has pockets, too! I decided to glam it up with some Cristabelle jewelry pieces.
The Velvet Dress (by Laura Yazdi) The moment I saw this velvet dress it was yes, yes and more yes. This look may just be my favorite holiday outfit of the 12 I’ll be sharing. The rich burgundy color, peplum detailing and strapless sweetheart neckline are what dreams are made of! I am just counting down the days until I can wear it to my first holiday party. It fits true to size with a bit of stretch in the fabric. Hopefully Asos restocks it soon as it seems to sell out quit quickly each time they get it back in stock.
Beaded Gown (by Laura Yazdi) One of my favorite things about the holidays is that you can get dressed to the nines and look fabulous all season long. So I figured I would start with a full out ball gown to kick off the season. Do you ever put on a beaded gown and immediately feel like a princess? I know I am not the only one 😉
Black Friday (by Laura Yazdi) It’s Black Friday! Everyone is out spending all their hard earned money and I am currently en route to Minnesota to attend my 10 year high school reunion. I’ve been waiting for this event for YEARS. The day when I can walk in like the scene right out of the movie Romy and Michele’s High School reunion. The only difference is, I won’t be making up that I invented the Post-It Note.

Who What Wear (by Laura Yazdi) Thanksgiving is only a few days away!! Do you have your Thanksgiving outfit picked out yet? Think two words: classy and stretchy. LOL. But seriously. If you don’t have time to order any new clothes, just head to the Who What Wear section at Target. You are bound to walk into that store for something in the next few days. They have some gems that are totally affordable and easily dressed up or down. The lace tie blouse and metallic pleated skirt I’m wearing today are perfect examples.
Fringe Backpack (by Laura Yazdi) How lucky am I to live in a city that has 80 degree days even in the middle of November? Next week I’ll be headed to Minnesota for my 10 year high school reunion. vThe thought of having to put on a jacket for 40 degree weather already has me shivering. LA please keep bringing the sunshine as long as possible.
Morning Suede Moto Jacket (by Laura Yazdi) Recently, I was at Nordstrom just minding my own business riding the escalator and about to walk out of the store when I caught something magnificent out of the corner of my eye. A suede moto jacket. I am obsessed with anything suede and moto jackets are my go-to style. Two of my favorite things rolled into one beautiful piece of clothing. I grabbed it, tried it on and within two minutes I was standing in line to check out. A real suede jacket for under $200 in such a beautiful color? Done deal. I almost grabbed the grey version as well, but decided to slow my spending and get as much use out of the burgundy one as possible before buying a second identicle piece. But now I see they came out with a purple and a lighter grey version and I am sooooo tempted to get either one. So far I’ve worn the burgundy jacket 5 times in real life and twice for the blog. You all don’t mind seeing it a thousand more times on the blog and my Instagram do you? Didn’t think so 😉
Little Reminders (by Laura Yazdi) At the Collective Conference a few weeks ago I got the chance to design my own Pandora charm bracelet. Their new version is a sleek metal chain brand with delicate charms and right up my alley in terms of style. It took me less than one minute to decide which charms I wanted to add. I choose an arrow, hearts, the eiffel tower and a camera to represent important aspects in my life. Each time I look down at my wrist I am reminded of these things in my life.
Fringe Fringe Fringe (by Laura Yazdi) It’s Friday which means it is time to get your dancing shoes on and have some fun. How could I resist having my own dance party with this black fringe dress on? That is just it… I couldn’t. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend everyone!

The Pink Coat (by Laura Yazdi) I recently wore these same pants with a different look here. For this ensemble I draped this chic pink cropped jacket over a chiffon shirt. Comfortable work pants like these are always a good investment because they match with everything and some days I just do not feel like wearing a skirt or a dress.
Blush Sunset (by Laura Yazdi) Tony and I chased down the sunset to get these photos before it got too dark. What we ended up with are these beautiful pink-tinted photos that perfectly matched this blush pencil skirt and matching sweater look from Ann Taylor.
You Are A Badass (by Laura Yazdi) During my commute I like to tune out and listen to audio books. I started listening to this audio book called “You Are a Badass” by Jen Sincero. The book talks about how if we all stopped worrying about what other people thought and just followed our intuition, we would live happier and healthier lives. I completely agree. Why waste our precious time worrying about other’s opinions or wishing we were something else? Be sure to take a look at my website for more photos and details! LauraLily.com
Fall Work Attire (by Laura Yazdi) One of the things I love most about the fall work attire is layering different elements of clothing to create a a chic ensemble. I am particularly fond of wearing a sweater over a button-up top like this one. You can even add either a necklace or a slim neck tie under the collar of the shirt for an added polish touch. Wearing a blazer all day can start to feel quite restricting sometimes. So this sweater laying option is a great way to still look polished and stay comfortable. And since promised you all more wear to work looks, here is the perfect example of a outfit I wear to the office. Be sure to take a look at my website for more photos and details! LauraLily.com
Welcome Fall (by Laura Yazdi) My favorite season has finally arrived! If you ask me why fall is the best of all four seasons, it is because of a number of reasons…The beautiful jewel tones that come with fall styling. The intricate layering of tops, jackets, sweaters, tights and dresses. Pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks. The smell of leaves turning. (Well, maybe not in LA, but all other parts of the country.) Sure, I’ll miss certain things about summer such as beach days, bikinis and bbq’s. But those will all be back next year. For now I cannot wait to fill my home with pumpkins and get ready for one of my favorite holidays…Halloween! Okay, maybe I am getting a bit ahead of myself. But either way- fall is here and I am a happy camper 🙂 Be sure to take a look at my website for more photos and details! LauraLily.com

Sicky Eyewear (by Laura Yazdi) Sunglasses- those small things you always forget when you travel. Or use to go incognito when you just don’t feel like putting on any makeup. I find sunglasses to be an important accessory of an outfit. They add an instant cool factor and can tie a look together. I prefer larger frames to smaller ones simply because I find them to be more glamorous.
El Matador Beach (by Laura Yazdi) This summer has flown by. Between my trips to La Jolla, Laguna, Vancouver, Palm Springs, and New York I feel as if I only got to go to the beach a handful of times. Tony took me to El Matador beach earlier this summer. A beautiful state beach in Malibu that you have to hike down a small hill to get to. There are some stairs, but one side of the walk way is a cliff and I was a bit nervous to look over the edge. Little kids ran past me down the hill and made me feel like a total wimp. Whatever! I’ve got a lot farther to fall then they do! Be sure to take a look at my website for more photos and details! LauraLily.com
