jeremiah's reaction is deliberately slow, drawn out for effect. he looks down at the fingers pressing insistently at his ribcage, allows his gaze to drift up, up, up the arm, the shoulder, the neck, until he meets jerome's gaze.

"care to elaborate?" he drawls, tone carefully bored. it's not like jeremiah isn't perfectly aware of what brings his brother here - though - with further consideration, it could be a few things. there are some traps he'd set some time ago that never were utilized, but also that he never disarmed. it could be one of those. and wouldn't that be just that much funnier?
