First, open Wine/Whisky/etc. I use Whiskey.

Create a Windows bottle (I choose Windows 10, so I can't guarantee 11 will work with either tool) and name it something that IS NOT just "Windows 10".

Make sure there's no sensitive information on your desktop– these programs are completely safe, but just in case lol. Then make a folder on your desktop to put your sims3pack in. Only put 1 sims3pack in the folder and name the folder something memorable.

Once the sims3pack is in a folder on your desktop, we need to check if there is any corrupted cc (et cetera) in the sims3pack– this is what Custard is for.

Unzip Custard and then run "Sims3PackCleaner.exe" with your bottle open. This will open the cleaner's window. It should look like this.

Click File at the top left and select Open from the dropdown. Then in the file selection, click the blank option with the "/" and navigate to

"/Users/(The name of your Mac User)/desktop/(The name of the folder with the sims3pack)/(filename).sims3pack"

Then, click open.

I'm opening a basegame house, so there should be no corrupted cc (since there is no cc at all). The new menu SHOULD look something like this (if there are no errors in your sims3pack).

If there ARE errors or corrupted cc, follow crinrict's guide here (scroll towards the bottom for the list of errors).

If you had to perform a fix, follow crinrict's instructions for saving, otherwise just exit the file which should also close the cleaner.

NOW WE CAN CONVERT THE SIMS3PACK!

Make a new empty folder on your desktop and call it something different than the folder with your sims3pack in it.

Then, unzip the Multi Extractor and open "Sims3Pack Multi Installer.exe" with your bottle open. This will open the extractor's window, which should look like this.

Follow the steps: click the first browse button, and navigate to the same folder you have your sims3pack in. (It should be the same path as before). Then, for the second browse button, navigate to the new empty folder you created named something different.

Click extract, and you should have your package file! Hooray. Now the world is at your fingertips, and you're no longer limited by the horrors of the crashing launcher!!!!!
