Hi, have you sold at Midwest before? did you get a sellers permit for anime Midwest? Do they require those?
Hey there Anon! I’ve sold in Chicago area before but not specifically for Midwest (first time lmao) but since it’s being hosted at the same center, I believe the same rules apply.
What you need to have is the IL’s form for special events so that you can send a check for the tax that you’ll charge at con for all items to them. This is usually what Acen + other cons tend to ask for and the form is usually sent to you. I usually do it within the first 3-4 days post con.
Midwest also sent out this specific form to all AA artists. If you don’t have it and you’re selling at AA this weekend, come off anon and send me another message so I can send you the link to the pdf!
