Birds nests! I have multiple birdhouses in my garden and there have been lots of birds visiting the houses to see if they might move in. The parasol mushroom! I go into the woods and search for it every year, it’s one of the biggest mushrooms in my region and there are different varieties. Sometimes the client doesn’t go for it but I like it a lot. This is one of them 😊 Of course, having fun creating the artwork determines at least half of why I like it. Almost November and I’m planning ahead for a new month in my @sellerspublishing day planner. Playing in the woods ❤️ It was my favorite thing when I was a kid and it still is :-) I try to go to a green space every day, a park, the beach or a walk through fields. When I’m with my kid I want to paint by myself and when I paint by myself I want to be with my kid and do silly things like making garlands out of leaves and looking for toadstools. Does combining the two work for any of you? Working in your studio while your kid creates their own art? I have this dream where I think it’s possible.
