Parenting Classes
It is undeniable that Shinichi’s parents did not do the best job raising him. Leaving him that young could be the reason why he tried to act independent because he was seeking approval via solving cases. Kaito’s parents were not any better. His father pretended to be dead and his mother started traveling constantly. The emotional neglect had to have some impact on them.
After all these years, when Kaito and Shinichi became a couple, they were planning to have a family. Both of them decided to attend parenting classes before taking that huge step. It was hard to accept that their parents were not the best role models. But they were willing to overcome these emotional difficulties and be better than them for their future child.
