"Larry, fuck, they shot you," I panicked while already knowing the answer.Β Β

"We have for get the fuck out of here," I whispered while shaking my head as Larry rubbed at the bruises the tight handcuff had left on his wrist while Truce hugged me and cried. She was shaking.Β Β

It was then that I had noticed the black bruise that was starting to darken under her eye and the cuts just above her eyebrow and the busted split in her lip and I lost it.Β Β

"Exactly," he replied while cocking his gun as I followed.Β Β
"NO!" She yelled. "I swear if you do it I WILL LEAVE FOREVER," she screamed as both Larry and I remained silent. "Do you hear me? Forever, please I need you guys. Please don't do this," she spat as Larry ran in to hug her and shush her calm.Β Β
"Truce what he done to you-" I started my last pleads only for her to cut me off.Β Β
"Is not ok Lau I know, but if you guys do this you will be deported back to Paris and lose everything you worked so hard for as Les Twins-"Β Β

"Oh, Bonjour Laurent."
"Bonjour Mrs. Jackson is Truce here. I stop at the party already and I notice she was non there," I panicked as she laughed at me being over protective.Β

" Of course. I knew you were gonna come," she laughed as I rolled my eyes. It was true, I always looked for her and vice versa. We were yin and yang. "Ok, See you later mom."Β
"Ok have fun and oh Truce, have Nala's mom call me, ok?"Β
"Ok, no problem."
"Bye Mrs. Jackson."Β
"Bye, Laurent and make sure to walk my daughter back home safe by 12 Am, please and Be on time before her father gets home from the hospital and tries to hunt you down," she joked as both Truce and I put on a fake laugh in unison. She kissed her mother's cheek again, then grabbed my arm and dashed out of the house like a bolt of lightning.Β Β

(Mrs. Jackson) "TRUCE.... HONEY YOUR COAT," she yelled while both Truce and I watched her step down off the porch and look up and down the block in confusion as to how we might have disappeared so fast. Truce found great amusement in watching her mother try to figure it out and was a snickering mess.Β

"That's why I ran out. She always wants for me to take a jacket."Β
"But I have on a coat."Β

"Oh yeah, little girl?" She spat with a devious grin as she started to tickle me all for me to reverse our positions where I was now on top of her and tickling her to no mercy. "Oh my gosh Lau I'm gonna pee on myself stop," she laughed as I continued.Β

"Never," she laughed as tears started to roll from her eyes.Β
"Oki you ask for it," I spat as I then blew bubbles into her neck. She laughed so hard that it threatened to have her mom come back out the house. "You better say if before you mom comes back," I warned.Β

"Oki," I smiled while helping her up from the ground. It wasn't until she started to dust herself off did I see just why she didn't want to wear a jacket. She was beautiful and it wasn't until she called my name and asked "What", did I realize I was staring at her. I shook my head a couple of times to erase where my mind was going towards her. She was my little sister. Right?Β
"Something wrong with my outfit," she asked as I realized she caught on to me staring but the wrong reason behind it.Β Β
"Why you wear such a sexy outfit," I angrily asked as her smile dropped and confusion laced her face.Β
"I think it looks nice and my mom was ok with it," she innocently answered. I, however, couldn't understand why I was so mad until Nala's front door opened and a couple of jocks from our school came out and stared at Truce. I glared at them as one of the jerks had the nerve to be bold and speak to her anyway.Β

"And Francine," Laughed Jeremey as I ran up to square up with him face to face.Β
"Hey, hey, hey, guys, not at my party. Especially while my parents are inside," Nala panicked while standing in between us.Β
"You have something to say to my face," Jeremey asked as his friends surrounded both me and Nala.Β
"If I tell you for get out of here bitch, then you better for get out of here," I threaten as he stepped closer.Β

"Or we are going to kick you ass," Larry yelled out from in back of me. It was then that I looked behind me and realized that Truce had gone and got our whole crew and now it was even since it was 6 of them and 6 of us.Β Β
"Nala move," Diablo yelled out protectively.Β Β
"We don't need this shit this fucking party is dry anyway," Paul whispered to Jeremey as they started to back up.Β
"Yeah just like you Mama's pussy," Speedy yelled out as we all laughed while they flipped us the middle finger and continued to walk down the block and out of sight.Β Β
"Good one my brother," I said as I gave Speedy a handshake.Β
"No one fucks with the Criminalz," he laughed while putting his arm around his girlfriend, Jessica's neck and walking back into the party. However, I noticed that she looked back to smile at me one more time as I winked my eye at her. However, Truce had caught the sneaky exchange.
"What?" I asked her as she rolled her eyes and walked past me.Β
"Your such a hoe," she yelled as I followed after both her, Lylah and Larry, back into the party. The crew instantly joined the dance floor in the back yard, but I watched as Truce drift off towards the kitchen and of course, I followed her.Β

"What the heck was all that about Lau, huh? Why would you start a fight while Nala's parents are here? And to top it off I actually like Jeremey for your information. But you wouldn't know that since you graduated already and been on the road. You're barely home anymore," she spat while trying to control the level of hurt that was seeping through her voice. I had deeply missed her too.Β Β
"1st of all I'm sorry I'm gone a lot baby. Monster's tour just started and that Jeremey guy is a fucking jerk and is non good for you. I remember him from when I was in school and he has always been a little prick."

"Baby," I whispered as I seen her crawled up in a ball on the bed while looking out the window.Β

"I'm sorry Truce," I whispered as I sat at the edge of the bed.Β

"I did promise that didn't I?" I laughed as she nodded her head. "In that case, you could have whatever you want," I spat as she smiled brightly. Damn, she was beautiful. "So you non mad?" I asked as she shook her head and mouth the word No. "Good," I said as I walked over towards Nala's stereo. I knew Nala was big on jazz and rhythm & blues music and so I went through her CD collection until I found just what I was looking for.Β Β
"Lau what are you doing," she laughed once the music started only for me to pause it in order to explain.
"I was walking with the rest of the dancers from the tour when we try for find something to eat one night and us pass by this guy who he play the," I said while acting out the instrument that I had a hard time remembering its name as she laughed.

"Yeah that," I laughed as she joined me. "Anyway he for play this song that I love so much and you know why?" I asked as she shook her head No. "Because it reminds me of you," I whispered as she stared at me. "I missed you so much while I was gone. No girl get me like you do.
