Larissa Rascon

This art piece is part of the series Tresses. The series exists of wigs woven of artificial hair, braided into iconic buildings. The wigs are inspired by West African hair braiding and the skyline of Manhattan. In later series Gaba also uses other forms, for instance cars or religious symbols. This wig represents the Flatiron Building, a well-known building in New York.
