Part 1

„ELOISE YOU MUST MAKE HASTE!", Sofia shouts.

It has been five years since Colin brought his little guest from Turkey and Sofia is at her best health now. Yet, she's still living with the Bridgertons, who happily acceped her as a part of the family. A lot of things happened in these five years - Daphne, Anthony, and Colin married, Benedict got accepted to - and left - Art school, Eloise, Francesca and Sofia made her debuts in society and managed to stay ummarried (although it looks like Fran might celebrate an engagement soon).

Right now, everyone is preparing to leave, because the Bridgertons (and Sofia) are invited to spend a few days with the Duke and Duchess of Hastings.  Daphne just gave birth to a little girl, Amelia, and Simon wants the family to meet her.

Everyone is ready to part, Eloise is the only one who did not arrive outside yet.

„Sofia!", Anthony warns her, but Sofia can see that he tries to hide a smile, „Bridgerton ladies don't scream like that."

„Good thing that I am not a Bridgerton", Sofia answers.

„You would be... if you agreed on marrying me", Benedict whispers and Sofia shrieks a little bit in surprise. She was not prepared to be this near to him. As an answer, she just laughs at him and says „Well, now that my favourite Bridgerton, Colin, is married, it has to be either you or Gregory, I'm afraid."

„Are Colin and Pen already here?", Eloise asks, as she storms outside.

„Yes they are", Colin replies with the wildest grin. He is holding his wife tight and making sure that she's next to him. Colin was taking extra care of his wife since they found out that she was with child. Penelope didn't seem to mind the overly protective atittudes of her husband at all. „We even brought our own carriage."

„How thoughtful of you", Violet comments , „I was afraid that we would not fit into the two that Anthony has organized for the travel."

„Well, we would, if Anthony and his wife wouldn't produce so many babies", Benedict comments. Sofia, who is still the nearest to him, hits him on his arm: „You can't say that, Ben! They are married and in love and can have as many babies as they wish"

„Also", Kate adds, „didn't plan to have three children in three years. How could I know that Baby no. 2 and Baby no. 3 were going to be twins?"

„And I really think that you, as a Bridgerton, shouldn't talk about having too many children", Penelope adds, making everyone laugh.

„You're a Bridgerton now, too, Pen", Benedict reminds her, „I can't wait to see how many children you are going to give our family." That comment is making Penelope blush.

„Maybe you should stop talking about our children and rather start... producing your own", Colin mocks his Brother, „after you marry a respectable young lady of course", he adds after he sees his mother's face.

Sofia giggles and Anthony, who was originally planning to warn her, joins in.

„You know, they have a point", Violet tells Benedict, „you need a family of your own."

One of the reasons why El, Fran (and Sofia) are yet to be married, is because Violet Bridgerton focused more on her second eldest son than her daughters in the past two seasons. The fact that one of her children is over 30 and still unmarried is giving her headaches. And of course, Violet is not blind. She totally knows what - or who - makes Benedict loose interest in any possible lady to marry. But other than her son, Violet is also not too blind to see that his feelings towards Sofia are probably never to be returned. Sofia, who has become like a fifth daughter to Violet over the years, clearly cares for Benedict and they definitely come along, but something appears to be stopping her from falling in love with Benedict, or maybe she is just not interested at all. The most tragic part of this story is... out of all her children, Benedict is definetly in love the most. Yes, Daphne and Simon are happy together and of course is Anthony absolutely crazy for his wife, and even Colin loves Penelope in a way Violet would have never guessed, but none of them looks at their significant other in that exact way that Benedict is facing Sofia.

„Who is going to travel in which carriage?" Hyacinth asks. She is tired of standing around and waiting.

„Sofia, El and I travel with Colin and Penelope", Benedict immediately decides, „The viscount and the viscountess and their lovely children can have a carriage on their own, leaving the last one for mama, Greg, Fran and you, Hyacinth."

Franesca is clearly about to contradict, and Violet doesn't seem to happy as well, but Benedict has already started to push Sofia and Eloise into their carriage and Colin, who was totally fine with his companions, starts helping his wife to climb into the carriage as well.

„Ben, can you help me with our carriage?", Anthony asks. Benedict, who was just about to step a foot into the carriage (in order to secure a place next to Sofia), reluctantly steps back and goes to help his brother.

„You can't do that", Anthony immediately whispers to him.

„I haven't even started doing anything yet"

„I don't mean that", Anthony impatiently points at the stuff Benedict had wanted to carry to the carriage , forgetting for a few seconds that they have servants for these kind of activities.

„You can't marry Sofia."

Benedict freezes in the middle of his movement. „Why?", he simply asks.

„Do you remember what big of an scandal it was, when Colin came back from his travel, with this mysterious girl next to him? A girl that was so extremely hurt, that everyone was wondering what might have happened to her? People were talking, Benedict. They assumed that Colin had taken his mistress to us and let her live with us. We all stood up against these ridiculous gossip, showed everyone that we accepted Sofia as part of the family and even managed to make up her reputation, so that she gained some suitors. If you get engaged to her, the girl we all call our sister now.. people will talk again. You can't marry a girl that's literally living with us already."

„You are married to your former fiancé's sister!", Benedict shouts, „Daphne married the duke after you found some in very inappropriate actions. Colin married a girl he claimed to be his friend for years, a girl who happens to be his former fiancé's cousin! You all falling in love and doing crazy things is okay, but I am not allowed to fall in love with a young lady just because people might gossip?"

„Is.. is she at least returning your affections?", Anthony finally asks, giving in. He hates when someone uses the Kate was your former fiancé's sister card.

„No... maybe.. I don't know. I am trying to confess to her, but she is only laughing at me or ignoring it."

„Wait a little longer.. when we are with Daphne and Simon, you might find a time to ask her alone, in a proper way." Just like that, the Viscount pulls out a ring out of his pockets, „give her that."

Benedict looks at the ring in shock for a fee seconds, but then starts to grin widely. „Annie, Annie, Annie.. were you planning on accepting Sofia as your sister-in-law for a long time now?"

Prologue

„My Lord?"

„Yes, Humboldt?", Anthony replies without looking up from the letter he was just writing.

„My Lord - Master Colin arrived."

„Colin is here?" Anthony repeats while standing up from his chair. The third Bridgerton brother had been traveling for a whole year now. He was actually awaited to arrive two weeks ago and no one knew why he was late. The Viscount tried to play cool around his family, but secretly he had feared that something might have happened to his brother. Thank God, he is here now.

„Colin is back?", Benedict asks happily as he enters the room.

„Brother! I told you many many times by now that you must not listen to what is discussed in this room, no matter to whom I'm talking!"

Benedict just smiles brighter as he responds: „As the second oldest I think it should be my right to be informed about everything directly after you, Annie"

„Don't call me Annie!", Anthony bursts out, making Benedict laugh. The Viscount doesn't say anything else, he just makes his way to greet his brother.

„You know, we would have stopped calling him that, if he learned to not freak out every time", Benedict informs Humboldt, while both of them follow the Viscount's lead.

„My Lords", Humboldt says, as they almost reach the door, „you two may want to meet Master Colin alone at first."

„Why?" Benedict and Anthony ask simultaneously.

"Is he hurt?", Anthony add.

Humboldt looks visibly uncomfortable. „No, Sir, he is at best health, but-"

„MAMA! Mama, Colin is here!"

Hyacinth's voice echoes through the whole first floor, making the three men jump a little. Before Anthony or Benedict even have gained the chance to stop them, Hyacinth and Gregory pass them and become the first ones to go outside to welcome their beloved brother.

The two eldest Bridgerton siblings immediately follow their lead, hoping to reach.. whatever Humboldt was reffering to, before their younger siblings.

And there he is - smiling happily at his family members and opening his arms to embrace Hyacinth and Gregory into a lovely hug. Violet and Eloise storm immediately outside, too. El almost kicks Benedict to the floor, but the second eldest is in a good mood and didn't say anything. Anthony would have been mad about it for sure.

„He seems completely fine", Anthony mumbles to Benedict, while he realises that Humbolt had not followed them outside.

„He does", Benedict reassures him, „but why didn't he just come inside then?"

„Are you going to kill me with your stares or do you think of coming over and hugging me welcome, too, brothers?" Colin's voice made Anthony realise that they were standing around and whispering while everyone else watched them. Even Daphne had arrived in the meantime. Fran is not at home, she's taking piano lessons. Benedict is the first one to compose himself. „We were just discussing, if you have been always this ugly, Brother", he comments as he embraces his brother. Anthony follows his lead. „What have you done?", he whispers into Colin's ears, while hugging his brother a little bit longer than necessary.

„Why are we still outside?", Hyacinth asks her mother, who was just about to wipe away her tears of happiness. Violet Bridgerton had been as worried as Anthony in the past weeks, but she also stayed as calm as possible, in order to not freak her children out. „You are right, we shall go inside", she says and turns away to take the lead, but Colin stops her:

„Actually... I have brought someone that I wish to introduce to you."

Anthony and Benedict share a glance. So that was what Humboldt had warned them about.

„Of.. of course, my dear. A friend of yours is a friend of ours. Invite him in."

Colin smiles. Benedict can see that he is releaved. „Well.. go in then, I will follow you. She needs a little help to come out the carriage, because -"

„SHE?", Gregory shouted. Anthony could feel every single bone of his body tense. He opens his mouth to say something, but his mother is faster: „COLIN BRIDGERTON! What - have - you - done?"

Colin in the meantime opened the carriage and helped the mysterious woman outside.

Just like his brother Benedict could feel every inch of his body tensing, but it was not out of anger. Colin carries the woman out of the carriage and helps her stand on the ground next to him. She looks up shyly and Benedict directly sees eye to eye with an angel. There is no other description possible. She is rather short, but absolutely stunning. Long, brown hair that is messed up and wavy from the long travel, little, rather exotic, almond-shaped green eyes, a mouth so full and naturally dark colored, he had never seen before. She is perfect, she is  someone he never knew existed and yet already the one thing he wants more than anything in his life.

„Did you marry without telling us?", Daphne asks surprised.

Benedict can feel something literally punching his stomach after hearing this words. Of course, he thinks , Colin brought her.. she is Colin's.. she belongs to Colin.

„No! I did not marry", Colin answers, clearly confused about that question.

„You brought your mistress to us?", Anthony comments, absolutely disgusted.

„What? No!", Colin responses, „everyone, this is Thunderbi-„

„Sofia", the angel intervenes. Benedict can literally feel his legs shaking when hearing her voice. How could one person be so perfect?

„My name is Sofia. I had a little accident. I.. I fell from a cliff and Colin - Mr. Bridgerton - was so kind to take care of me and to help me recover." She has clearly an accent, but it's still the most perfect sound Benedict has ever heard.

„Well then.. Sophia", Violet is the first to compose herself, „come in. Daphne, tell the maid that we need a guest room ready in an hour."

„It's Sof-ya, not Soph-i-a", she corrects Lady Bridgerton, but Violet, Daphne and a quite reluctant Eloise had already stormed inside to prepare for the guest.

„You will come to my office first", Anthony Commander and points at Colin and Benedict, then he looks to Sofia, „Miss, you can follow my sisters and mother inside. They can show you the dining room."

„What about me?", Gregory asks.

„You can play outside", Colin decides. Gregory is not really happy about that.

„I.. I am not able to walk this long paths on my own yet, Sir", Sofia answers, blushing.

Benedict feels the sudden urgency to kiss her cheeks, but doesn't do as such of course.

„I will bring you there", he immediately says and reachs for her hand, but she takes her fingers away.

„I will carry Sofia inside and then come to see you two", Colin decides and easily lifts her up. Benedict hates that she doesn't hesitate to jump into his brother's arms.

Colin doesn't wait for an answer or maybe Anthony gave him one and Benedict didn't hear it? Anyway, he makes his way up to the dining room, while Anthony and Benedict silently go to the office.

Sofia, Benedict thinks , while he successfully ignores his brother's monologue which would actually be a dialogue if he cared to listen.

- A Benedict Bridgerton Story

She was the daughter, actually the only child, of a Duke. Her name was Sofia, but everyone called her Thunderbird since she was a little babygirl. He was just a poor farmer's boy. They fell in love at a very young age and remained lovers even when they grew up. Her father didn't accepted this suitor of course, so she packed her things and ran away on her eighteenth Birthday. They were on the run, and didn't have any money, but they were so in love and so happy.

But then... at the very night when they decided to become husband and wife... something happened. The farmer's boy returned home the next day, alone. He looked so utterly broken that no one ever dared to ask what happened. He never recovered from what happened and even though he eventually started to laugh again, the smile never reached his eyes. From that day on, he always had the eyes of a broken man.

And Thunderbird? Well, some say she returned to her father, some other claim she eloped with a rich Lord from another country. Some people swear that they saw her growing wings and flying up into the night... no one really knows what happened to her, but one thing they know for sure: Thunderbird was never seen again."

To save his daughter, he modified the Grangers’ mind into believing they adopted her rightfully.

Regulus Black was a Slytherin by Choice, but a Gryffindor at heart.

Idk, probably the moment Harry realised Sirius was not going to reappear from the other side of the veil 😭

Narcissa didn’t reply.

Their house elf is the only one who saw that she was holding a faded photo of young Sirius and little Regulus in her hand while crying.

- Season 1: all rainbows and happiness. They‘re 15 and living their best lives in Hogwarts. A lot of fun, the successful transformation into animagi, James casually flirting with Lily, some occasional sad scenes where Sirius tries to win over his brother, Regulus. James asks Remus to stop smoking, saying that it‘s going to kill him at a young age. Remus answers: „well, make sure that I have a nice funeral then.“

- Season 2: begins with Sirius running away from home, he has a strong character development in this season, Regulus ultimately decides to stay with his family and not to go with Sirius, James matures and becomes the father of the group, Lily befriends Remus after cutting all the ropes to Snape.

- Season 3: last year at Hogwarts, everyone gets nervous, attacks outside of Hogwarts rise, they have to decide what they want to do outside of Hogwarts. Lily looses both parents, falls in love with James.

- Season 4: After graduation, James and Lily move in together, the gap between James and Sirius (the rich ones), Peter (middleclass, finds a job immediately) and Remus (very poor, no one hires him) gets more and more obvious. The tension between Sirius „at-least-you-have-a-supporting-family“ Black and Remus „I-am-the-reason-why-my-family-is-suffering“ Lupin gets bigger and bigger. They eventually stop talking. James‘ parents suddenly die. Lily finds out that she‘s pregnant.

- Season 5: it starts with the Potter‘s wedding. Sirius and Remus don‘t talk anymore at this point. Dumbledore comes to tell Sirius that Regulus is probably dead. Sirius finds out that it was Remus who gave the headmaster this information. Sirius confronts Remus and asks him how he could now these kinds of information, if he‘s not in Voldemort’s inner circle? James and Lily try to function as newlyweds and soon-to-be parents, but there‘s a lot of tension. Peter and Sirius start hanging out more than normally. Harry Potter is born.

Season 6 (final season): The Potter‘s find out about the prophecy. The marauders try to work together to make a safe place for Harry. Even Sirius and Remus try to be nice, but their relationship seems destroyed forever. Remus finds out that Sirius met with Narcissa, but the Black boy claims it‘s because of Regulus. Remus leaves for an important mission (where he has to befriend the werewolfves). Sirius has the idea of switching the secret keeper.

Final episode:

The Potters die, Harry survives. Lupin comes back from his mission and finds out about his friends‘ deaths. He tries to find Sirius and/or Peter and wittnesses their big fight. Sirius has a mental breakdown in Azkaban, crying „I‘m sorry, I‘m sorry“ all the time. Remus is seen standing at James and Lily‘s graves, lighting a cigarette. One tear is falling down his cheeks.

Everything gets dark, then, there is a light coming that can be later identified as Sirius motorcycle. Hagrid brings Harry to Privet Drive 4, Dumbledore holds the baby first, then puts it slowly on the doorstep. He looks sadly at the baby and whispers: „Good luck, Harry Potter.“
