Just some random art featuring my NINAH fan OC, The Waitress/Yolanda, and the Pale Man. It was meant to be a bigger illustration, but I must admit I got too exhausted to make a more complex work. This is my last fan art related to this game so I can go back and focus on my webcomic.
Long story short: this is part of a fanfic concept and AU from the NINAH game, where my OC, the waitress exists and takes shelter in the house of the protagonist after being stalked by a man who had unrequited romantic feelings for her before the cataclysm started. This man became a visitor and turned out to be a dangerous one, the Pale man, who never stopped chasing her.
This scene is a moment where he might have caught her and talks about how he feels about her, both the obsession, how he feels human when he sees her, but also he blames her for becoming a visitor during an afternoon he followed her after work and she took a different and longer route near the woods just to avoid him. It was on this road where the Pale Man was attacked by "something" The Waitress never got to see, since this guy was a considerable distance from her to go unnoticed, making him run into the woods. She managed to escape because, whatever that was, it only wanted him.
He blames her for this and for not helping him, despite that he caused this to himself by doing something horrible, yet he still claims to love her. She does feel guilty, but she did what she did for survival. Now is little she can do.
Again, I like to think this is NOT the ending she gets and that she manages to survive, move on and get her own happy ending with someone she loves and that this particular moment we see here might also be one of her nightmares.
