EDM (house music) is often associated with drugs I wonder if people could turn to EDM music instead of using drugs to feel the way they feel on drugs.

A DJ mixer represented above is a type of audio mixing console used by professional  DJs on House-music festivals. These DJ mixers  make smooth transitions between different sound recordings as they are playing. Everything that we hear in the mix is combined and made on this. You may think that making music by pushing all of these buttons and turning those two plates is everything but art, but, you are very wrong. To be able to work on this mixer and produce your music, you have to love the job with all your heart, you have to understand every vibe, sound, person, moment, and feeling. At the same time, you have to be very aware of the audience. This is not for everyone, this is for special people with powerful imagination. 

Nina Kraviz is a Russian DJ, producer, and singer. She was accepted into the Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle in 2005, however couldn't attend as she couldn't obtain a visa, attending the following year in Melbourne instead. Kraviz started her own record label in 2014, named трип (English: Trip). She mixed the forty-eighth DJ-Kicks mix album, which was released in January 2015. She is one of the best producers and not listening to her music would be a real damage :D She is important for the advertising the House music because she is one of just a few female DJs in the world of House Music. House music flows through her veins. <3

Studio 54 is a former nightclub and currently a Broadway theatre located at 254 West 54th Street between Eighth Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan, New York City. In the late 1970s, the club was one of the best-known, house and dance music nightclubs in the world. The club played a formative role in the growth of disco music (similar to nowadays house music) and nightclub culture in general. The reason why club stopped being popular is because it had a strong connection to drugs, public fights (common thought that people who listen to this kind of music are gay) and alcohol that was not checked out or was mixed with a cheaper alcohol  in order to earn more money with that. Everything about that club was wrong. Suddenly, it was not popular anymore and from that point on, dance-house music was not popular anymore, people just refused to listen to it (all of the reasons above). And that’s it, no house music anymore in America..

As you can se in the picture, House music parties and festivals are usually very big with a lot of crazy stuff going on there. This picture is taken on one of the biggest Electro-House festivals in the world - Tomorrowland (Belgium). You just look at the picture and you know that it must be noisy out there! All people in the same mood, pumped up for some Electro-House music and amazing time. Why is this not “a thing” in America? Or, to be more precise, why isn’t this kind of music popular in the USA? I think that American youth knows hardly anything about this amazing genre and they don’t give themselves a chance to open up their minds to the sound of it. They don't wanna try anything except of what they are used to; small parties in private houses with the beat of a Rap or a Hip-Hop. I am telling you, I hated House music at first, it was so boring to listen to it, but I just got addicted after I went to a few festivals with my friends. Now, I am listening to it all the time!
