The journey to reach the Lamia sanctuary is a long one, trailing along a winding back road and through the heavily forested area that the owner called home. For those that stick out the journey, there is a cozy little cabin that lays to greet you. Flanked on both sides by two towering buildings, one being the personal home of Valerie and the other being the sanctuary proper.

Everyone has retreated inside following the sound of your vehicle pulling up but the sound has drawn Valerie out of the cabin, which holds the adoption interview room.

There is a shelf that seems to hold some toys and candy, a couple of bitty sized Lamia napping there, and Val's smile is clear at the sight of you.

"Welcome to Forever Home." She pauses, nervously adjusting her sleeves. "Thanks for visiting! How can I help you?"

After consulting and talking about it with my Bitties, we all agreed to have Me, Starstrike or SS for short (My Full sized Blue Ribbon) and Cinnamon (My Template Bitty from @askbittyerror ) we are all currently preparing to leave as I write this, Hope to see you all there!

P.S- I also have a box of blankets I would like to donate, I have these for a while collecting dust (don't worry, I washed them recently)

P.S.S- Starstrike and Cinnamon almost both crashed from excitement but they have calmed themselves down and are both just chatting calmly with one another on the back seat

Getting random visitors was fast becoming much more common than having an individual call ahead to alert of them coming. So when someone let Valerie know in advance that they were planning on showing up she made sure to get things ready before they arrived. There wasn't a ton of mess that needed to be cleaned up (this time) but she had to make sure everyone who didn't want to be adopted knew about the visitors.

And then it was just a waiting game!

Crybaby is anxiously standing by, supported by Lime's quiet companionship and the silent presence of Monarch off by the chickens.

Thankfuly it din't take long for the three to arrive at the sanctuary, the ride was enough to calm both SS and Cinnamon down from their excitement and chatting about possibly having another one of their kind in the home, SS was excited to have another Lamia in the house and Cinnamon was excited to just have another member of the family, their Owner, Elaine calmed them that there will be a chance that Crybaby may not wished to be adopted by them, while this saddened them, they do understand that they must respect his choices and support the him and the santuary as a whole either way.

A small knock was heard before the door was opened to reveal a young adult carrying a box of blankets, with her full sized Blue ribbon slithering beside her with the template on top of the Lamia's skull, both began to look around in awe of the building, Causing the woman to chuckle before she turns to Valerie.

"Hello, I am the person that is interested in adopting Crybaby, you may call me Elaine" she lets out an awkward chuckle before she looks down at the box, "these are the blankets I was talking about, I uh, Hope these will be more useful than laying unused in my cabinet", her two Bitties also turned their attention on Valerie and waved excitedly.

As soon as Valerie saw the two lamias already accompanying Elaine, she was seized with the feeling that Crybaby would do well with them. Elaine already had a full-size lamia of her own so Crybaby's size wouldn't be as alarming, and it meant that Crybaby had someone who could make sure he cared for himself even further.

Crybaby wasn't overly fond of too many humans clustered into one place but the adoption meeting room was large and open, with a huge set of double doors that were both opened to the outside. Shelves held all the snacks and materials that would go to potential adopters, with the beanbag that Crybaby was huddled on top of. Lime took one long look at their visitors and decided they would be too much for him, slipping by and slithering away.

"Thank you!" Val chirped, hauling the box into her arms and shuffling it near another door to the side. "Blankets for nests are always needed. You wouldn't believe how many blankets we have here and it's never enough!"

"H3ll0," Crybaby tacked on, coiled under and over himself in a matter not dissimilar to a ball python. Just the fact that he was willingly talking was a good sign! "'M Ba-aby."

"Good job, Baby." Valerie's praise was coupled with a careful, gentle scritch across the exposed dome of his skull. Careful to keep her movements well within his sight. "Come in, come in! Make yourselves at home. If anyone finds small stowaways in the shelves just leave them to nap."

Elaine nodded, she turned to her two Bitties and nodded at them, "Remember guys, No sudden movements"

"Don't worry" SS Said in a more softer voice, usually he would be exclaiming and shouting in excitedment, but knowing what they are in for, He calms himself down, Of course! This is a possible family member for them! So he must act polite and good until they are slowly comfortable with him, plus he doesn't want to crash infront of Baby, that would be rude!

Cinnamon also nodded as he excitedly yet also quietly flaps his hands in excitement, Like SS, he was also excited for a new family member, perhaps they can even color and draw things together! But he's getting ahead of himself! Both bitties took a deep breathe and slithered in with their owner beside her.

Elaine made sure that Baby could see her clear but still keeping a respectable distance," Hello Baby its nice to meet ya, I'm Elaine" she greeted before she turns to her Bitties, "This is Starstrike but you can callh him SS for short" said Lamia waved at Baby, "Greetings friend" SS greeted as Elaine then turns to the template, "and this is Cinnamon" and the Template bitty waved happily at Baby, "Nice to meet you!"

Valerie is more than happy to fade into the background, going about her usual business while maintaining a presence in the adoption room. Crybaby watched his potential family, cautious but curious. Elaine had bitties that were like he was, prone to crashing when they were overstimulated. Luckily, Baby wasn't as prone to crashing anymore but even he was worried about a panic making him crash in front of Elaine.

Even if she was used to the sight, it never made him feel good and could ruin what should otherwise be a very nice experience.

"3la1n3," he mumbled, testing the word. Hearing the other bitties talk, not a hint of distortion in their words, brought a shy flush to his face. "N1c3 t0-0 m33t y0u a-all."

Feeling a little more daring, since he was being given space and understanding, Crybaby left his beanbag perch to approach his fellow bitties. He still kept his distance but circled anxiously, tugging on his empty sleeve. It had never been more obvious than now that he wasn't whole anymore, even though he wasn't an adult yet.

"D0 y0u-0u want any snacks? Val le-ets us hav3 what3v3r fr0m h3r3."

The three stood still to allow baby to check them, Elaine found him quite adorable, And Both SS and Cinnamon were quite amazed by the distortion, they were able to talk freely without them, well, that is unless they get overly excited but thats not the case, they still think of Baby as a neat fellow error,

Elaine smiled at the offer, "Well that is quite kind of you to offer baby", she turns to her other bitties and gave them the ok sign to interact with Baby, trusting that they calmed themselves to avoid any crashes, SS smiled before he turns to Baby, he wanted to slither closer but was afraid that it may scare baby so he answered in place, "That is a very kind offer friend, we would like to if Miss Valerie is alright with it"

Elaine was more than happy to allow her bitties interact with Baby first, they were the most excited to see him afterall, and it also allows them to ask him some questions they may have about him, she did asked questions about Baby earlier.

The less he was boxed in and his boundaries were forcefully trodden upon the more comfortable Baby became. Nobody was forcing him to do anything or invading his personal space, giving him the respect he had gotten used to while living at Forever Home. He still snuck the occasional look toward where Valerie was lounging, minding her own business with a smile, just to make sure he wasn't being left alone with people he didn't fully know.

"Feel free to grab something," Val agreed, waving a hand at the shelves. They had liquid magic, candy, drinks, and even magic food items that would be hot and ready to eat when opened. "There's something for everyone in here."

"I l1k3 th3 pr3tz3ls," Baby chimed in, edging closer to Elaine's bitties. "Bu-u-ut D0v3 l-l1-1-1k3s th3 ch0c0lat3. What's your fav0r1t3? I can grab 1t."

Crybaby was a rather helpful Error-type bitty, very unlike what was usually expected of his type. Part of his offering to grab their snacks was to make himself better in a potential family's eyes but the other was a test. He wanted to see if they would help.

Being a Blue Ribbon, SS likes nothing more than helping others among other things, "I do like snacks like energy bars, oh that is kind of you friend, But allow me to grab the things for us," SS Slithered towards the shelves, first grabbing pretzels for Baby before humming and turning to Cinnamon on his head, "what would you like Cinnamon?"

"Ohhh" Cinnamon looked at the selection and looks like he is thinking really hard, tho SS merely rolled his eyelights and grabs a piece of chocolate and hands it to the smaller bitty, "Hey I haven't even said my choice!" Cinnamon said to which SS scoffs, "Oh don't pretend, you always pick Chocolate if you are offered one", Cinnamon giggled, "Aight Aight, you win"

SS just smiled before he grabs himself a simple energy bar from the shelf, before he slithered back to Baby, mentally reminding himself to still keep a respectful distance, not too close but also not too far, there he hands the pretzels to Baby, "Here you go friend"

Elaine smiled and slightly chuckled at her two bitties interactions, The two were always teased to be the closest among her bitties, but its not like they are wrong, the two were almost always together and loves to do activities with one another like painting and even playing hide and seek! They also tend to help each other when one crashes, there was one time both of them crashed but luckily, she and her other bitties were there to help them until they were got better.

Rather than pull away and pout over having someone else take over grabbing the snacks, Crybaby was content with siddling up to SS and Cinnamon. He got rather close to both of them, within touching distance, and kept his one eye light firmly planted on where SS put his hands. He wasn't as comfortable asking things outright so watching to see what they picked was more his style.

Cinnamon seemed more like a typical Error-type, with his preference for chocolate, but SS was very different than even Crybaby. Energy bars? Well, it wasn't the oddest thing Baby had seen someone prefer as a snack food.

Taking even further initiative, Baby closed the distance between SS and himself when presented with the pretzels, letting them know without speaking that he was fine with them getting closer. At least, he hoped it was obvious enough. It was easier to avoid speaking.

"Thank y0-0u," he said with a nervous smile, drawing further attention to his one crooked fang. He carefully ripped open the bag and dumped it into his mouth, unable to avoid eating fast enough so nothing could get stolen. "S0rry."

"It's not a bad behavior," Val was quick to reassure. She didn't want anyone to think Baby was a food hoarder or had problems with food in general. "Snacks tend to get passed around here so everyone gets into the habit of eating quick when they have their favorite in hand."

"L1k3 wh3n Sangr1a ha-as t0 shar3 h1-1-1sss warh3adss," Crybaby snickered, white pupils going huge in his pinkened sockets. "Funny stu-uff."

He paused.

"Y0u d0n't m1nd that k1-1nda stuff, d0 y0u?"

"Oh its ok my friend" SS reassured, "Some of us tend to do the same, tho it is mostly when it is the last of our fav food to make sure no one stole it" To Which SS turns his attention to Cinnamon, "Like how Cinnamon somehow managed to eat an entire chocolate bar in minutes"

Cinnamon chuckled at the memory, "Yeah, it was awesome!" SS rolled his eye lights again, "But is fine my friend, everyone has atleast done that once and its all alright"

Their owner chuckled, even she doesn't know how Cinnamon managed to eat the entire chocolate bar in one sitting, she would be lying if she said she wasn't impressed tho, but she did make sure to remind the others to not eat to fast to avoid any accidents.

As soon as Valerie saw the two lamias already accompanying Elaine, she was seized with the feeling that Crybaby would do well with them. Elaine already had a full-size lamia of her own so Crybaby's size wouldn't be as alarming, and it meant that Crybaby had someone who could make sure he cared for himself even further.

Crybaby wasn't overly fond of too many humans clustered into one place but the adoption meeting room was large and open, with a huge set of double doors that were both opened to the outside. Shelves held all the snacks and materials that would go to potential adopters, with the beanbag that Crybaby was huddled on top of. Lime took one long look at their visitors and decided they would be too much for him, slipping by and slithering away.

"Thank you!" Val chirped, hauling the box into her arms and shuffling it near another door to the side. "Blankets for nests are always needed. You wouldn't believe how many blankets we have here and it's never enough!"

"H3ll0," Crybaby tacked on, coiled under and over himself in a matter not dissimilar to a ball python. Just the fact that he was willingly talking was a good sign! "'M Ba-aby."

"Good job, Baby." Valerie's praise was coupled with a careful, gentle scritch across the exposed dome of his skull. Careful to keep her movements well within his sight. "Come in, come in! Make yourselves at home. If anyone finds small stowaways in the shelves just leave them to nap."

"Don't worry" SS Said in a more softer voice, usually he would be exclaiming and shouting in excitedment, but knowing what they are in for, He calms himself down, Of course! This is a possible family member for them! So he must act polite and good until they are slowly comfortable with him, plus he doesn't want to crash infront of Baby, that would be rude!

Cinnamon also nodded as he excitedly yet also quietly flaps his hands in excitement, Like SS, he was also excited for a new family member, perhaps they can even color and draw things together! But he's getting ahead of himself! Both bitties took a deep breathe and slithered in with their owner beside her.

Elaine made sure that Baby could see her clear but still keeping a respectable distance," Hello Baby its nice to meet ya, I'm Elaine" she greeted before she turns to her Bitties, "This is Starstrike but you can callh him SS for short" said Lamia waved at Baby, "Greetings friend" SS greeted as Elaine then turns to the template, "and this is Cinnamon" and the Template bitty waved happily at Baby, "Nice to meet you!"

Valerie is more than happy to fade into the background, going about her usual business while maintaining a presence in the adoption room. Crybaby watched his potential family, cautious but curious. Elaine had bitties that were like he was, prone to crashing when they were overstimulated. Luckily, Baby wasn't as prone to crashing anymore but even he was worried about a panic making him crash in front of Elaine.

Even if she was used to the sight, it never made him feel good and could ruin what should otherwise be a very nice experience.

"3la1n3," he mumbled, testing the word. Hearing the other bitties talk, not a hint of distortion in their words, brought a shy flush to his face. "N1c3 t0-0 m33t y0u a-all."

Feeling a little more daring, since he was being given space and understanding, Crybaby left his beanbag perch to approach his fellow bitties. He still kept his distance but circled anxiously, tugging on his empty sleeve. It had never been more obvious than now that he wasn't whole anymore, even though he wasn't an adult yet.

"D0 y0u-0u want any snacks? Val le-ets us hav3 what3v3r fr0m h3r3."

The three stood still to allow baby to check them, Elaine found him quite adorable, And Both SS and Cinnamon were quite amazed by the distortion, they were able to talk freely without them, well, that is unless they get overly excited but thats not the case, they still think of Baby as a neat fellow error,

Elaine smiled at the offer, "Well that is quite kind of you to offer baby", she turns to her other bitties and gave them the ok sign to interact with Baby, trusting that they calmed themselves to avoid any crashes, SS smiled before he turns to Baby, he wanted to slither closer but was afraid that it may scare baby so he answered in place, "That is a very kind offer friend, we would like to if Miss Valerie is alright with it"

Elaine was more than happy to allow her bitties interact with Baby first, they were the most excited to see him afterall, and it also allows them to ask him some questions they may have about him, she did asked questions about Baby earlier.

The less he was boxed in and his boundaries were forcefully trodden upon the more comfortable Baby became. Nobody was forcing him to do anything or invading his personal space, giving him the respect he had gotten used to while living at Forever Home. He still snuck the occasional look toward where Valerie was lounging, minding her own business with a smile, just to make sure he wasn't being left alone with people he didn't fully know.

"Feel free to grab something," Val agreed, waving a hand at the shelves. They had liquid magic, candy, drinks, and even magic food items that would be hot and ready to eat when opened. "There's something for everyone in here."

"I l1k3 th3 pr3tz3ls," Baby chimed in, edging closer to Elaine's bitties. "Bu-u-ut D0v3 l-l1-1-1k3s th3 ch0c0lat3. What's your fav0r1t3? I can grab 1t."

Crybaby was a rather helpful Error-type bitty, very unlike what was usually expected of his type. Part of his offering to grab their snacks was to make himself better in a potential family's eyes but the other was a test. He wanted to see if they would help.

Getting random visitors was fast becoming much more common than having an individual call ahead to alert of them coming. So when someone let Valerie know in advance that they were planning on showing up she made sure to get things ready before they arrived. There wasn't a ton of mess that needed to be cleaned up (this time) but she had to make sure everyone who didn't want to be adopted knew about the visitors.

And then it was just a waiting game!

Crybaby is anxiously standing by, supported by Lime's quiet companionship and the silent presence of Monarch off by the chickens.

A large male walked in, being around 7'0 tall and having a dull color palette. He glanced around as he scratched his beard then walked up to the woman.

" ummm...hello? I'm looking for a lamia for my daughter, she's going off to a new home you see, and I wanted to get her someone since I won't be able to be there with her."

He smiled slightly, it seemed the tall man with a frightening appearance was actually just a wholesome dad.

Valerie is only slightly alarmed at the random appearance of someone who, quite literally, towers over her. But she's never been intimidated by a tall, frightening-looking individual. She summons her best customer service smile, easier to do when she has Lazuli tucked into her hair for support and strides forward.

"First off, welcome to Forever Home," she said. "We certainly have lamia for almost everybody here. How old is your daughter?"

Depending on his answer, she might have to really think about who might pair best.

Hmm I see, In regards to Baby's health, how often should the supplements be given to him? Should it be daily with his meals or something like every 3 hours?

* Twice a week for the supplements is sufficient! You can give them as often as three times a week but proper diet should work hand-in-hand with supplementary items for Baby's health. However, if you notice any more bone decay or an excess of dust falling off you should increase the frequency of supplements to twice daily until the bones have no grit when you run a hand over them.

* If there's any significant bone loss or anything seems to have gone missing, it's best to contact a healer immediately.

Thank you for answering my question, Secondly, limited humans would be ideal since I am the only human in the house, So if I do meet him, Would it be ideal to bring one or two of my bitties with me? Since Most of my bitties are very laidback, tho I do have another error lamia, A blue ribbon from Selkie

* For meet-ups, it is permitted for you to bring along other bitties living in the same home. It would be best to bring the larger bitties you have or those with bigger personalities.

* As for how Baby will do with a Blue Ribbon, no worries! Baby has experience with a full-size Blue Ribbon. So long as Baby has space he can escape to if overwhelmed he gets along great with even hyperactive bitties.

So I have a few questions about baby, like how well is he in a large family? does he has any requirements for his area? (each of my bitty gets an area for their own, tho Baby gets an old room that is currently empty and preparing to be refurnaced since he is quite bigger than any of my bitties) and preferable foods that are better for him?

* First, thanks for the interest!

* Baby is comfortable around other bitties and animals, though he does better with a limited number of humans in a home.

* For his personal space, he prefers things to be open. The size of the room doesn't matter so long as there isn't a ton of clutter, he's pretty organized compared to others and takes a minimalist approach to his designated room. A suitable window for light, blankets for warmth, and some toys or books to pass the time he's awake in his room are more than enough.

* As for food, Baby is quite adventurous when it comes to what he'll eat. So long as he's given his supplements he'll eat whatever is offered. For snacks, he seems to prefer salty things (pretzels and crackers) more than sweets.

It's unclear why he was dropped off since he's perfectly well-behaved and has no health problems, but he's been prepared for finding a forever home!

Baby is a San Garter (creation goes to @fantasy-fields-bitty-center) that was born with the pastel mutation. His well-meaning first owners kept him inside entirely, in the dark, due to his sensitivity to the sunlight. This led to a vitamin deficiency that caused his bones to become very brittle, leading to losing an arm, a phalange, and a fang. His name is a reference to a song since his previous owner thought he looked like he was always crying. He's shy around new people, stunted because of poor husbandry, but happy enough to listen to anyone rambling.

Warning(s): Being a pastel morph, Baby needs to be monitored when in sunlight and will require more than the normal amount of supplements.
