Does anyone relate to attaching smells to memories? They’re not always good of course (there’s a dusty smell that I associate with the hallways in my old high school which immediately brings back some unpleasant memories) but I’ve had some surprise moments of unlocking a nostalgic memory from smelling something familiar. I have an old book that I like to smell sometimes which reminds me of the bookshelf in my childhood home.

I hadn’t posted an update since I first made it, so I wanted to post some pictures of what my battle jacket currently looks like. I’ve added tons of patches (including the back patch I custom made for it) and it feels almost totally “complete.” Just gotta fill that one little gap on the yoke. :)
