I carried you for 40 weeks and three days. I remember moving apartments within my apartment complex, I had to climb the stairs multiple times heavily pregnant to move my things with the help of my Nigerian class mates, Godbless you John and Andrew. I tell you schooling and pregnant wasn’t easy. One day I was dozing off in class and our instructor just looked at me and asked how far long I was, I said 39weeks. He told me to just go ask for leave and go home. Chai! I couldn’t stop thanking God because I was trying to make up as many hours as I could before giving birth but it was telling on me. And then we had to move to NY… thank God for uncle @giftedcole that came to help us move. NY was another journey. In all of it, you were always a rock star. Happy no stress and strong. I’ll always say you opened my eyes to the world. I’ll always thank my family and frnds dt collectively helped take care of you even tho sometimes we were clueless but God helped us. Thank you to my brother @omololuomotosho that picked up my unsure pregnant self at the airport when I first got in and helped me settle into sch and my apartment before leaving. I’m taking it back to the beginning because it brought us here. Thank you Miss Pam our nanny in NY. I’ll forever remember you. And yes thank you to the best dad ever @colepeter you always made sure we were alright right from when dollars was 150 till now that it’s 575. Happy 10th birthday to my first seed @colepeterjr. I love you so much. You made me fearless and strong because I knew I had to be who I should be in order to protect you and take care of you with God on my side. I remember how tiny your legs used to be in shorts😂😂 I remember all our solo trips and how you would always try to help me with pushing carts or anything I needed.
