me as a teenager: man it sucks to have no privacy or autonomy but i guess its for a good reason. when i turn 18 i will realise how young i was and understand why they did all that.
me as an adult: teenagers are an oppressed class, their abuse is normalised and systemic and they need to start killing people
Matt Fradd's bizarre fixation with claiming women aren't funny every six months or so genuinely needs to be studied at this point
I don’t know what the answer is but it’s probably butter or garlic.
Sometimes I feel like a rock. Yesterday a professor asked me to say the final prayer after class, but I really do not know how to do it. They usually say a few words from their hearts and petitions and then the Lord's prayer and a Hail Mary. But I am simply unable to do that. I end up saying shirt and directs phrases and they are not as pretty as when other people pray. They said "Just say whatever comes to your heart". But nothing comes to my heart. And I do study about the faith, about prayer and how to pray, I read and I still struggle with that.
Please, pray for me
Of course 🖤
“In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Mt 6:7-8).
It’s a gift to say beautiful sounding prayers from the heart, but it doesn’t make any difference to God.

You’re a hideous, terrifying monster. One day, you meet an innocent little girl who isn’t afraid of you and treats you like anyone else. Day after day, you play together until you’re eventually separated. Many years later, you meet her again, but this time, she’s terrified of you.
Did you mean
I'm still thinking about the guy who saw me realize my wheelchair wouldn't fit in the elevator because he (also a wheelchair user) was already inside it and immediately quipped, "This elevator ain't accessible enough for the both of us."
via @123i321 you can't just leave that in the tags
[Image descriptions in order: two tweets by Joseph Mullins @josephmulli... The first says "Today, nobody showed up to my 8.15am class.
0 students of about 40. Sitting in the empty room, I email them, trying to disguise my hurt feelings.
2 mins later, I get a reply: "Professor, we think you might be in the wrong room." So anyway off I go to live in a hole forever.
The second says "My wife really wants me to mention that I was sleep deprived because I got up at 4am to play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends in Australia."]
[Tags that say #Sad professor in a room alone #Students no love me? Why students no love me 😭 #All 40 in the other room #Where our beloved professor? Why he not here? He ok?!]
All I can think about is the ENERGY in the room with the students when the first one looked at their email... absolutely incredible.
this is an extremely good joke format
I wish I knew how to play chess
I needed this.
I understand chess and oh my god can this be a meme format? Cause there are so many possible combinations here
"going out to get milk" is a common turn of phrase used to describe a man abandoning his family.
the "milkman" is a common figure in stories depicting a woman's infidelity and adulterous affair.
this implies that the ability to provide milk would both decrease the likelihood of a man abandoning his wife and children, as it would eliminate the need for leaving to get milk AND would secure that man's marriage, as his wife would have no need to seek milk from an extraneous source.
therefore, all men should produce milk, through various means such as:
- being a cow
- being an almond
- being a woman
- being a coconut
- being in the omegaverse
- being an oat
(list is exemplary and not finite)
in this essay, i will redefine the nuclear family and explain the seductive and inflammatory nature of the 1993 "Got Milk?" commercials.
