life lately (or for the past few years)

tbh, I have practically zero with traditional paints so this is a huge learning curve/experiment for me (on top of not having drawn much of anything in the last few years due to grad school). While there’s a lot I’m dissatisfied with, I’m also excited to be part of this weekend’s local Studio Ghibli tribute show.

Wrinkles and flat hair (not that it can hold much of a curl to start with) after a looong Day 2 of Anime Matsuri.

My fine motor skills have been in a progressive decline since starting dental school 3 years ago.

Finally picked up and unboxed this fukubukuro today!
