I'm confused. Did we not all grow up being told not to ever trust Wikipedia as a primary source because people have access to change it, and therefore WILL LIE on it? That we have to search further into what is being cited and from where? Why do folks keep acting like it's the source of all good and true? This hype of "It's where all the autistics add their loads of knowledge" y'all don't think autistics can be biased? What happened to the art of investigation?

people will live in racially/ethnically homogenous european countries and say "native americans benefit from being in the imperial core" meanwhile native americans have had to endure centuries of genocides and displacement. meanwhile native americans are victimized at sky-high rates despite comprising a fraction of a sliver of the population in america. meanwhile a woman in my city was just indicted for embezzling $400k in funds that was supposed to go to improvement and maintenance of tribal lands.

I think it's important to remember that GLP-1s are quite literally medicine. There are medical reasons to use them. They have amazing medical benefits for many millions of people across the world. Using the new near-miracle diabetes drug that gave my father a new lease on life for trying to look anorexic isn't good, yeah, but it ain't the chemical's fault: It's two industries and a force of societal oppression doing that. Quit applying moral values to a life-improving chemical just because some people with too much money are misusing it. Keep your head in the game.
