Isn’t it weird to know someone for a while, like almost a year. We’re friends, it’s nice, it’s casual. Nothing’s rushed and nothing’s “on the line”, it’s refreshing. To be able to tell someone you like them, to invite them to things, to sing and write about them, to be friends with theirs and yours with them, to say anything and not feel like you’re struggling to breath. You can ask them anything, you say “I don’t know what that means” and feel GOOD, you aren’t shoved with judgement to both you and the world, like wow. I love that. To be placed in a world next to someone with a heart of pureness. As far as seeing one another. The miles didn’t stop us from hanging out, there’s planes and cars. When the pandemic hit, we were together. Then after camping was the way to go. I’ll save the sappy stories but now here I am, with her in my arms for the first time, which I thought would be weird after but I can’t shake the thought of everything good happening. Now, we’re already making more plans. It’s crazy, it’s super chill. Effortless. Whatever or wherever we’re headed, or not headed. I’m grateful for.
