(Pilot) Loved her coat, and her hair wasn't overly reddish like in the later episodes

This women literally gets shot a billion times working as an mercenary of sorts, and carries out miltary missions all the time. How does Kojima reflect this in her design? By making her look like a Victoria's Secret model. There are also extremely objectifying moments, when in cutscenes, the camera will pan across her breasts and ass while a freaking tank's shots are ringing behind her. Disgusting.

Notice how this women who also gets shot like a billion times is wearing you know, ACTUAL clothes and not some skimpy bra in the middle of a zombie infested forest? Yeah, me too. Ellie actually is a strong women who doesn't take any shit and doesn't end up in the "bold girl falls in love with videogame equivalent of Adam Sandler who "fixes" her by evidently reducing her character to eye candy" category of videogame heroines. Ellie could be the only character in the TLOU and the game would still be a cut above average just beacause how nuanced she is and portrayed like an actual human being.
