Have you seen the giant 10-foot tall Gibson guitar sculptures lining the Sunset Strip? Well, now is your opportunity to own one! Â
Bonhams will host a charity event beginning at 8 p.m. on February 22 to auction off all 18 sculptures from the Gibson GuitarTown on The Sunset Strip project created by internationally acclaimed and local artists including Shepard Fairey, John Kosh and RISK. The guitars celebrate musicians and artists who have influenced The Sunset Strip including The Doors, Buffalo Springfield, Stevie Nicks, and Van Halen among others. Â

This week, the Metro buses will begin to run featuring the work of artist John Baldessari in support of arts integration programs that combine music, visual arts, dance and theater with traditional core subjects such as math, English and science. #Dream Big: Arts Education Fuels Creative Thinking.
