Everybody meet Amir Whitaker, an amazing staff attorney at @aclu_socal , focusing on education equity and funding for the kids who gotta go to school in the hood. While you were probably getting creative and philosophical off that recreational this past 4-20th 🔥👀🌿, Amir was reminding people how the creativity in schools that serve the Black communities were being neglected but, that’s about to change now! CONGRATS 🍾 🎉 to you and your colleagues at #ACLU (and everyone else involved) for settling $150 MILLION with @l.a.u.s.d to provide $3 million to 50 of the highest need schools for additional art programs!
