Coloured pencil on wood, gift for my supervisor when I was on my final social work placement at uni. Never drawn on wood before, it was a challenge! I also painted the backing with copper acrylic and put it in a shadow box. I think it turned out really nice.

Dabbled with oil pastels for a bit. They're a lot of fun for loose studies, I can't get all wrapped up in detailed work because the pastels are chonky

Occasionally I will start painting something with acrylics and remember I hate painting with acrylics. Was fun to get the airbrush out though for some of these. I've since switched to W&N Artisan water mixable oils as they are more disability-friendly both in terms of MCAS reactions and also because physically I cannot sit painting too long before my arthritis flares up. So I plan to finish these off using oils!
