A Rose by any other Name

Rosalina had never been one to just wander off but she was bored and her escorts weren’t doing anything to quell that. Humming softly as she sent one to go grab her a drink and the other to go find Zoey her little eevee that had “wandered off”. Once both men were out of sight the young heiress grabbed her things and set off down the opposite route.

It was an odd feeling being able to wander the area alone seeing as her family always seemed to have her on a leach, nevertheless she loved them and knew it was only for her own protection. Even if she hated it. It was a nice feeling being free from escorts and estate walls but she didn’t want to get too far from the carriage least she get herself lost, and that’s exactly what happened she’d let Avery out from his pokeball and the little Zoura took off making Rose chase after him.

”Avery come back here we have to be heading back to the carriage or mother and father will be furious.” The little pokemon eventually made its way back to her just in time for Rose to realize she had no idea where they were. “Oh no Avery it seems we’re lost… Not to worry I’m sure I can figure out how to get back, or at least find someone to help us.”

Way to go Rose you seem to have gotten yourself lost. She frowned walking around the unfamiliar area and sighing this was probably why father never let her go out by herself. It wasn't like she had done it on purpose she had just gotten separated from her escort. Frowning as it started getting dark the young lady started looking for someone to help her find the Inn that she was supposed to be staying at. After a few hours she finally ran across someone who looked like he could be trusted. 

"Well today was certainly eventful! I do hope to meet more people tomorrow."

 Tea time was always one of her favorite times of the day, leading the male though the rose garden Rose gave him a thoughtful smile. “I am ever so delighted you agreed to stay for tea Monsieur Wallace, after all it is my favorite hour of the day. It has always been so peaceful, a time to just sit and reflect on what is happening both at home and in the community. Father is always talking about how medicine has come a long way. But enough of that, you said you were a gym leader am I correct?” She hummed fascinated as she poured the tea.

Rose had always wanted to travel so when her father suggested going to Hoenn for a while she was all for it. Packing her favorite dresses in a small trunk and a few essentials she was all but ready to see the world outside their estate, a small smile graced her lips as she looked out to the ocean from her cabin on the ship. As the ship docked she was lead off the ship and around the beautiful city by carriage after all she didn’t want to be cooped up in some stuffy car the whole ride when she could have the wind blowing through her hair. One of her maids and best friend had been brought alone to supervise her and make sure she got along with the boy she was to be meeting here. She was more there to make sure Rose did her duties instead of treating it as a vacation.

The female of course was already shrugging off everything she was being told.  She wasn’t into the whole money scene of she was being honest. Sure it was nice to have but it wasn’t all life was about for her. She just wanted to live and be herself not what was expected of her. As the carriage entered the Quartermane estate she blinked her father was right when he had said that they were wealthy, hopefully this Charles wouldn’t be like most of the rich boys she had met thus far, they were insufferable know-it-alls who tended to believe because she was a woman she did not know what she was talking about.
