First of all, the Utena saving Anthy thing.

Utena freed Anthy from her coffin, and was the first person to truly see the real Anthy. Utena never truly saw the real Anthy until that moment.

Utena was never actually going to save her by being a prince, because the whole prince/princess thing was a broken system. And Anthy was so oppressed, supressed, and abused that she lost hope in being saved.

No one truly saw the real Anthy. No matter how good their intentions were, they only projected their own desires and ideals on her. Anthy didn't really have a will of her own. Utena was the first person to make Anthy feel "seen". Utena saw the real Anthy. The Anthy that was buried deep, deep down.

I think they revolutionized eachother's world. In a way, they saved eachother. Utena didn't revolutionize the entire world, but she definitely revolutionized Anthy's.

Now, Utena "grew up", and left Ohtori academy. The people at Ohtori academy never truly grow into adults. Utena realized that reality isn't a fairytale, and accepted her weaknesses. She casted away her childish ideals and delusions, and finally "grew up". There wasn't a point in playing into both gender roles, and she rejected the patriarchy. With that, she also saved Anthy from her endless suffering.

This is symbolized/represented by Anthy leaving Ohtori Academy, and wanting to find Utena. Utena gave her the strength to leave both Ohtori Academy, and Akio. Like Anthy said, Utena isn't truly gone. She simply vanished from Akio's world.

I truly do love the ending of the show. I'm not sure if there will ever be another anime like Utena.

So, Hikaru is Lucifer. He took the form of a japanese high school girl voiced by Laura Bailey, which is due to Luci's weakened state.

Hikaru isn't blonde, and her name isn't a pun on Lucifer. However, Hikaru's name does actually hint at her true identity.

Hikaru is a gender-neutral name that means "light" or "radiance". Lucifer is a latin name that means "light-bringer" or "light-bearer".

I've also noticed Hikaru has noticeable fangs, which is something I'd figure I'd point out. Neat.

Anyway, When Walter runs into Hikaru. He says "Why the devil are you here!?", Which may be further foreshadowing for Hikaru's true identity.

Also, The emblem on her uniform was meant to resemble Venus, as Lucifer is heavily associated with Venus. You know, her design basically has Morning Star plastered all over it. Honestly, Hikaru was always pretty fishy.

Also, unrelated, now whenever I hear Sana's raps, I think about Hikaru since Laura Bailey also voices Sana. The idea of the Devil rapping is really funny to me for some reason.

Morrigan isn't like your traditional succubus in folklore. While Succubi in folklore do appear in men's dreams, seduce them, and steal their life force/demon, Morrigan doesn't do that.

Aensland Succubi feeds of a liquid created from mental stimulation. If one were to go two days without feeding on the liquid, they'd died. Morrigan needs to be constantly entertained, or she'd die.

While her excitement can come from sex, having sex isn't required to survive or create the liquid. She can be mentally stimulated by fighting, or doing literally anything considered fun.

Morrigan is more 'evil' in the Udon comics, but the comics are not canon (Thank God), and they don't do a very good job at representing the characters. I personally think the Udon comics do mischaracterize the characters, and not just Morrigan. I like the Udon comics, but the characterization of some of the characters are one of my biggest problems with the comics.

I think the comics (and possibly her ending in the first game) is what caused the 'Morrigan is evil' misconception, because in the actual games, she isn't evil. I'd describe Morrigan as an anti-hero.

In the games (and actual canon Darkstalkers stuff), Morrigan is actually quite fond of humans, and hasn't ever been shown draining their souls or killing them. The only person she's actually been seen 'killing' was Pyron, and he isn't even a human. Her ending in the first game isn't even canon either, Demitri is canonically the one that killed Pyron.

Now, is Morrigan a hero? No. Like I said, she's more of anti-hero. She isn't good nor bad. I'd say she's more chaotic-neutral.
