The 100 finale could've avoided being a shit show SO EASILY.

Picture this. Bellamy gets shot by Clarke but survives and we get a shot of him in a coma on Bardo. Simple enough, doesn't affect the plot overmuch. After everyone transcends and Clarke is walking around, we get another shot of a hospital room where previously a comatose Bellamy had lain. Now there is a gold tree person. Moving on to the end. Same thing. Clarke walks the beach with Lexa, realizes everyone came back for her, joyous reunion, everybody's hugging. But wait, no Bellamy? We see Clarke's face fall but settle in a sad but determined expression. She can't blame him, she shot him after all. Rustle from the trees off camera. Clarke turns and Bellamy comes out with some sticks under his arm or something, idk. Clarke's face breaks into a smile bright as the sun while she is still being hugged by everyone. Bellamy smiles back and mouths, "Together." Clarke nods and mouths back, "Together."

See???? That wasn't so hard now was it?????

Like, nothing matters in the end.

The Head and the Heart? Destroyed each other. Not the centre of the show anymore.

Maybe life is about more than just surviving? Nup. We’re literally just going to survive as glowsticks for eternity and no LIVING will ever get done.

The survival of the human race? No children will ever be had. The species is dead and glowsticks.

Be the good guys? Not really. They were killing each other right until the final moments and Clarke and Echo and Bellamy and Indra were all committing betrayals and atrocities all through the final season.

Love ISN’T weakness? The final war wasn’t stopped by love, it was just Octavia pointing out they wouldn’t transcend if they killed each other. Love is still what got Cadogan killed and why Clarke failed the test.

Once upon a time I actually believed Bellamy and Clarke would end up together and their last lines would be like: “What do we do now, princess?” “Whatever the hell we want” and everyone would just be happy for the first time in this freaking show, no one dying, no planets blowing up.

I’m not a Bellarke shipper, but Bellamy was always my favorite character.

The way they ruined him this season is awful.

You have him dead for 11 episodes, only to bring him back to life and then kill him off again, but this time as a TRAITOR.

How can the show be rewatched now???? it simply can’t

Because the main male character dies with all the people he loved and protected for so many years HATING HIM….WOW that’s jus so great!!!!

I’m guessing the producer of the show has some personal problems with the actor and that’s why he decided to ruin the character after 7 SEASONS!!!!

it’s just an insult to the audience and to the people who loved this show for so many years.

I just can’t get over the fact that we live in an age where some of the best writing and storytelling i’ve seen is from fan fiction. This is in no way shade to any of you who write them, because you all are fantastic and so incredibly gifted. But y’all do it for free. FOR FREE. Meanwhile there’s people getting paid to write whatever the fuck this season is. It’s just mind-blowing.

the radio calls, the red sun, clarke “dying”, bellamy “dying”, bellamy being brainwashed, the m cap machines, and those are just the examples OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD

SO MUCH wasted potential. so many opportunities. they write the perfect story, lay out all the plots so carefully to build up the romance, then completely destroy it basically every episode. we get a couple 3 minute scenes per season and that’s it?? how are we the ones clowning when they’re the ones ruining the story?? i’m tired of it
