people who go 'nobara should have stayed dead' piss me off. i get being unsatisfied with her return because it was executed shittily, but if you ask me nobara simply shouldn't have gotten fridged anyways. having her in the story has far more benefits than taking her out.
nobara's death, especially because she literally comes back in the last 5 chapters of the damn manga, is fucking meaningless. nanami is already there as a much more thematic and relevant death, nobara doesn't really need to die as well. the easy solution is to just have her come back during the culling games. but the way some people argue against it, you'd think nobara killed their grandma.
nobara is a character with a lot of room to grow, both power wise and narrative wise. she, like yuji, is responsible for killing eso and kechizu, which leaves room for interesting conflict with choso. since yuji is choso's brother choso easily forgives him, but with nobara it would have been much more complex and interesting, especially if yuji has to navigate between his best friend and his brother fighting.
second, nobara's technique is so fucking interesting come on. perfect assassination tool, hairpin has the potential to improve, the fact that her technique INTERACTS WITH THE SOUL. you know, in the culling games which has REINCARNATED SORCERERS who are particularly vulnerable to soul attacks... this could also help with soul lore since we know fuck all about how that stuff works, could also elaborate more on yuki's soul research. and the voodoo aspect is so cool, you can definitely go deeper with that! plus the attack she was injured with was also a soul attack, so her mitigating it enough to survive isn't even that unbelievable.
also, nobara is easily the character with the most shallow motivations, so putting her in a situation like the culling games is a natural way to develop her. is she really only interested in getting out of the countryside? is she willing to continue being a sorcerer even if it doesn't afford her the luxurious city life it used to before the shibuya incident? or has she come to value her friends so much that protecting them is included in 'staying true to herself'? she's also a battle maniac despite being normal outside of that, so does she want to get stronger?
moreover, in the kyoto school exchange event she gives a pretty naive response to momo talking about misogyny and how prevalent it is in jujutsu society. just staying true to yourself means jackshit when it comes to societal problems, so her getting a wake up call regarding that could have been interesting, maybe during the perfect preparation arc somehow?
also i just like more disability rep. since she's part of the main trio (despite getting fridged so early...) if she'd stayed around longer we could have gotten some stuff about that and how she's dealing with it.
ALSO nobara getting fridged set a horrible precedent for jjk's female cast in general. i swear gege forgot how to write women after 'killing' her off, basically every female character introduced after her has the main personality trait of being in love with a man (hana, remi, yorozu).

oh ALSO. she can hit black flash as well, which means she has a deeper understanding of how CE works. essentially this is my 'nobara should have learnt rct while on the brink of death a la gojo' agenda. actually, what would be cooler is her figuring out cursed technique reversal rather than RCT. her technique transfers damage via the doll to the actual person, so what if the reversal is transferring damage someone takes to the voodoo doll? learning that rather than healing fits her personality more too. also, cursed technique reversals are basically plot devices for gojo to have hollow purple and for kenjaku to survive yuki. having someone in the younger cast utilize it as well would be cool, especially since we have a bunch of RCT users later on in the series.
