Season 2 Predictions

This is just something that’s been knocking around in my head for awhile now.

On a scale of “is occasionally forced to bathe” to “Instagram model with sponsors to hoe for” how involved is your OC’s Skincare routine?

What are your OC’s food preferences (flavors/textures/spiciness/calories/ when and how they eat) and how did they get that way?

What’s something pointless/petty/unimportant that IRRATIONALLY ANNOYS THE HELL out of your OC?

What’s your OC’s response to being asked for money by a homeless person?

Does your OC get lost easily? What do they do when they do get lost?

What would STOP your OC from Doing The Right Thing in a tense situation?

Realistically, could your OC (in their normal circumstances- i.e. at thier own house/battlecamp/spaceship etc.) keep a small child alive for a week if they had to?  A Dog?  A Houseplant? A rock with a  smiley face painted on?

If your OC had to take the S.A.T. tomorrow with one night to prep, how would they do?  both emotionally and academically.

What would cause your OC to chose to do something petty/pointlessly cruel?

On a scale of “Complete and Justified nervous breakdown” to “Conquer The Entire Galaxy and become an Immortal God-Emperor”, how well would your OC handle being abducted by Aliens?

What song is 100% garunteed to get your OC beyond turnt and will be sung loudly and emabarrasingly, either in public or the shower?

What perfectly-normal-to-them-thing does your OC do that confuses/pisses off/terrifies thier neighbors?

Under what circumstances would your OC appear naked in public?

What thing did your OC’s parents do that your OC wishes they had a better explanation for?

How often does your OC “zone out” or do things on autopilot and how severe have the problems that have arisen from that been?

How strong or weak is your OC’s Impulse control? What’s the worst thing that happened becuase of thier Impulsivity or inability to be so?

How does your OC sabotage themselves? 

What’s the trashiest item in your OC’s wardrobe, when was the last time they wore it and why do they still have it?

How Dehydrated is your OC right now? Are they going to fix this?

Dragon Age: Inktober!

I did the best I could at coming up with some prompts for each game, sorry if it’s not the most imaginative but here it is!

Feel free to combine the prompts for each game if you want to do a more general Dragon Age Inktober rather than game specific

When I made this last year, I was a bit late in timing so a lot of people couldn’t prepare. However, this year hopefully this can be spread around earlier so people have time to plan in advance!

Ok guys, so obviously there are some weird spoilers ahead, so if you don’t want to read any of them, DON’T READ THIS!!

Basically, it details this SUPER SECRET HIDDEN CHEST that is FULL of secret rare things. All you have to do is jump on a tiny cave in the Emerald Graves.

SO, I really wanted to try this out, mainly because I had not heard anything about that weird tiny cave, and I think the Emerald Graves is my favorite map in the game (it is just so dang gorgeous), and it’s not like I had anything else better to do on a Friday night but jump on a tiny fucking cave.

The tiny cave in question:

This sweet, weird little cave is found here in the Emerald Graves:

The key to triggering this insane quest is jumping like crazy on the tiny cave.

All hail the purple moose.

I think I jumped around 50-60 times. (Hint: I would make your party hold position right outside of the area, because I kept having Iron Bull all up in my personal space.)

After you jump around 30 times or so, you will start hearing this voice coming from the tiny cave. I was in a fit of frenzy last night, so in my haste, I did not write down what the voice said. However! after you jump on the cave some more, you will get a quest to find 10 Crystal Grace. I already had 7 in my inventory, but I found the remaining pieces in these places: Note: you can ONLY find Crystal Grace in the Hinterlands.

After gathering the Crystal Grace, I went back to the little voice in the cave, and they got REALLY EXCITED! then they started muttering something to the effect of “ Stairs, the stairs, they’ll be there, THEY’LL BE THERE”, and then, nothing.

After this, I briefly tried to think of places with stairs in the game. The first place I thought of was the Giant’s Stairs in the Western Approach. I don’t know if any of you guys have seen the weird tower there, but I thought it would be a good place to look.

After finding nothing here but booze, tiny farmers and cheese (sounds like a fucking party), i decided to consult the internet. After googleing “staircase dragon age” I came across this Reddit thread. APPARENTLY this little egg had been found a little over a month ago, so good research Kotaku, good research.

ANYWAY the best way to find this little spot is to follow this path in Emprise du Lion:

Because if you try to go to Suledin Keep first, you will not be able to get to it.

Anyway, you will have to follow that little path until you find the veil fire. The Area looks like this:

look at how Dorian models so well.

And HERE is the super secret fake snow wall.

All you really need to do is go through, best do it at a bit of a run if you’re nervous.

On the other side of this fake snow wall you will find a staircase, a super long stair case that goes on, and on,and on,and on, and ON.

Eventually, you will get to the bottom.

and you will find the SUPER SECRET CRAZY RARE CHEST! 

and THIS is what will be inside.

I learned much of what I know about oddly specific things in the game that I wish it told me, through trial and error and screwing around. I have beaten the game and done some post game, so.

Some general things that most might know, but some might not:

Charjabug will not evolve until late-game at the fourth island.

Jangmo-o is so late game, it’s almost not worth it.

Pokemon Moon is 12 hours reversed, so during the day in real time, it will be night and vice versa.

Alolan Raichu does not learn anything from level up, so be careful if you want Thunderbolt or else you’re waiting until basically end-game for the move relearner.

Alolan Raichu learns Psychic when it evolves.

Decidueye is slower than most realize.

Poke Pelago is useful, it can give Poke Beans, free level ups, rare evolution stones, and you grow Berries there.

The Professor will give you a Lucky Egg if you catch 50 Alolan Pokemon and talk to him in his lab after doing so.

Eating at restaurants gives you Heart Scales; they’re essentially buyable.

Fire, Thunder, Water, and Leaf Stones are buyable.

MALE SALANDIT DO NOT EVOLVE. Females are a about a 12 percent encounter rate as well, it’s basically Combee.

Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Sandshrew only evolve through the Ice Stone. Not the Icy Rock, an actual Ice Stone item, like a Thunder Stone. There is only one in the game. Same goes for the Dusk and Shiny Stones.

The Thunderbolt TM is not avaliable until postgame.

MORE STONES CAN BE GOTTEN FROM POKE PELAGO, THOUGH!

Leafeon is not obtainable until the 2nd island, Glaceon is not obtainable until basically end-game.

Defeat the Pokemon under the berry piles to get the berries.

Mimikyu is a good Pokemon.

Affection and friendship are two different things affected by different actions. 

Level up the Festival Plaza by talking to people with RED speech bubbles. They give you Festival Coins, which will advance your rank.

You now need to hit the blue Wi Fi icon in the Plaza menu to connect to the Internet.

Ditto can be caught below the observatory.
