The key of life

 Was the first woman to serve on the California State Water Resources Control Board and a pioneer for women aspiring to be leaders in the water world. From 1972-1977 during a time period that included the passage of the federal Clean Water Act. She became part of the growing movement for water quality regulations to stop water pollution.

She created her foundation about water conservation, being the first woman to talk about this topic so risky for humans, she was someone strong who would not let anyone change her opinion and reached the big leagues to discuss her ideas being part of the California State Water Resources Control Board being an inspiration for women who want to enter this world, she opened the doors for many other female activists to dream big and be able to be in the big leagues where they can make a real change in the world not just people's minds.

This movement starts in 2007. This marathon consists of making people know the importance of water, its objective is to share an environmentalist thought related to water, being this marathon one of the great movements in the world, running through many countries and cities. Beginning from the United Nations in New York City on June 1, the Blue Planet Run team has run relay-style 24 hours a day, seven days a week across Europe, Russia, Asia, Canada and the United States. The runners have endured some of the world's toughest conditions, from swatting flies through the Gobi Desert to navigating city streets in Beijing to coping with the blistering summer heat of America's heartland.

One of its goals is to unite the global community to provide safe drinking water to the one billion people who need it. to the one billion people who need it. And provide information on how we can conserve water and this was a door for new protests about water and the project was received with a great wave of positivism and was well received, so its goal until 2007 was done thanks to donors and great athletes who joined this march in different countries, giving a good image to the program achieving its goal successfully thanks to its good acceptance.

This Historical Event about water in 1914, the U.S. adopted U.S. Public Health Service Drinking Water Standards. They were not strict, however, as they only contained bacterial limits to protect a public that was traveling more than previous generations.

The use of chlorine as a disinfectant became common for water in the United States by 1915. This was the first water control problem. Filtration and chlorination of drinking water were becoming more common methods to remove contaminants and pathogens. Chlorination, in particular, was gaining recognition for its effectiveness in disinfecting water. It's important to note that significant advancements in water quality standards and regulations occurred in the decades following 1914, especially with the establishment of the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act in 1974.

This poem takes a rather different and unique approach to saving water, the author contemplates the downpour of rain.  They say how the same  water that cleansed the garden plants all conjoined from all places into little streams and vanish down the garden path. They author questions god about his choices of why it works like that, but then he accepts that god has his own reasons for it to function the way it does and leaves it all in his hands.

The author puts many metaphors in this poem, showing from different sides how it is represented in this life and how the world depends on it and we see it so often that we don't know the value it has in some countries that need this water to live.

Water is very beneficial to not only us, but animals and plants alike. We shouldn’t waste arguably our single most important factor for why we even exist in our planet. For it is a resource we often take for granted since it seems so abundant but not everyone is blessed with clean water to drink,cook, or even shower with, and it all truly depends on us if we want to ensure everyone has access to water.

The author of this poem is trying to tell us that water is the only thing we humans need to live and the only solution for us to continue living more years is to preserve it and consider it at all times. She talks about the importance of turning off the tap more than usual, he says where the water will go after it goes down the tap, it will become wasted water. she asks where the water comes from and where it will go after it is wasted.

This poem depicts a traveler in the desert when asked what they would prefer, a mere glass of water or a bag of gold. He described a water as something unsold, meaning priceless when compared to a bag of gold, which in it on itself has a high value. This means that the author thinks that water is as important and expensive as a bag of gold, because without it we and all living species couldn't survive, since our body needs water to live and this is one of the main reasons why there are protests about the care of water, because at some point if we do not take care of it we will run out of it and that would be fatal for human life.

The second stanza describes trees as of high importance as well, enough for the author to beg on their knees to conserve and protect them. Then he gives an example of trees that are equally important for life since they provide us with oxygen and tells us that just as there are many people cutting down trees they are taking away from many people.

Yesterday I took a short bath and enjoyed the holiday which was quite long lasting, these days I am trying to save more water with my short and efficient showers and also save water by hand washing the clothes instead of a washing machine, so we save water in a way. Another way was to talk to my parents about how we could be more considerate with the environment, especially with water.
