Kal sits quietly and respectfully distant from the other. Cephus would rather do it by himself anyway. After all, who would want to touch the dead? He threads a surgical needle with surprising accuracy and starts sewing. His left hand's fingers had started to rot off again... He's been neglecting changing his Parts for too long. And yet, he stubbornly hangs onto them until they could no longer be attached anymore. And despite having to pierce "his" own flesh to sew them back - single handedly nonetheless - he does so calmly and precisely. "Better the left than the right" he thought.

Kal notes that the other works steadfastly, never wincing from the pain. He must feel pain right? He is still human, despite being... undead. The red head wonders what is it about Cephus that makes him so earnest? He feels that somehow this falling-apart-man and himself have some things in common.

"Do you ever get the feeling that there is somewhere else you belong to?" Kal blurts out his thoughts half-knowingly.

Cephus skips a beat... of course...

"That's... the story of my "life" right now." There was a wave a pain in his voice.

"I- I- I- I'm sorry!!! I didn't mean to upset you!!" Kal's panic peaks as he notices tears streaming ever so gently down the Abomination's face. Cephus looks up from his hands and finally feels the tears and he too takes a second to register the moment.

"I'M SORRY!!" Kal resumes.

"It's ok..." Cephus' voice is soft and gentle now. "I suppose there are still things I can feel."

Kal starts to calm down, and feels relieved when he catches a faint smile on the other's face. As he settles down again, Kal is glad that at least for now Cephus belonged in this world.
