lmao, after doing his route i understood why he has so many fans, this dude is so smooth.

Yanosuke is the director of Habataki's Theater Troupe and has only been allowed to go to school recently. He's also in the Student Council, so you know that boy is overworking himself. He constantly ranks 200th on every exam because he keeps failing maths and societal studies (?).

I found him a bit confusing at first because I just assumed he loved theater, he was really dedicated to it, he's really good at it, and even takes time to lecture others about their acting mistakes. But no, apparently he didn't ??? at least not much. I guess it's hard to love it when he longed for a more normal life, going to school, experiencing school festivals, going to amusement parks, etc..

In his confession, he says that the only moment where he thought "Ah, I really love theater" is when he was on stage with Marii for the cultural festival, and from then on, he started appreciating it. She became his guiding light, and helped him see what he really wanted. He does end up liking theater at the end and Marii helps him with his theater work.

So, I said in a previous post that he's the eccentric type of dude like Hikami and Arashi, and if you played his route i think you'll get what i mean :

Yanosuke's a child actor, but for theater, he's been on stage since he was 2 yrs old ! apparently his face was also plastered on t-shirts for promotion, this dude has been an actor for so long, it feels like he can't interact with others regularly, at least other teenagers. And he even said it himself, smth like "i've been an actor longer than i've been a student"

From what i've seen (and my opinion), i don't think his issue is that he's playing a role and can't find his authentic self (like Saeki), it's more that he's restraining the "wild" side of his personality, he's not sure if he can let loose with other.

A big example of that is the cat story. You get it by (successfully) initiating skinship with him during and after multiple dates.

When he was little, there was a cat he used to take care of, and he really REALLY loved that cat, too much in fact, because the cat ended up running away (at least that's what he tells us). So, to my understanding, he smothered the cat too much and the cat couldn't handle it ? I guess the cat was, or seemed annoyed at him, and that's something he fears, to be left alone when he just started his social life because of his personality.

So it doesn't seem to be a matter of "i don't know who i am because i've been an actor most of my life", It's more smth like "can you handle me and my overwhelming love ?" because he kind of switches to "actor mode" when his feelings are too strong to handle, a.k.a when he is with Marii.

uuuuuhhhhh i feel like im reading too much into this, but anyway.

His route was enjoyable, i rlly love his mischievous side + he's the same type of naive person as Reichii X)
