(Ok, just so you know…I don’t have the OFFICIAL design for my .EXE, BUT! I have lore!)
BEHOLD!: Midas.EXE; The Golden Lie
MIDAS, THE GOLDEN LIE — LORE:
Midas was not born a god.
He was made one—by belief.
Long ago, when worlds began to fracture and games were copied, corrupted, and rewritten, there emerged an entity that promised prosperity. Not safety. Not truth. Abundance.
Where others ruled through fear, Midas ruled through reward.
Those who encountered him were not chased.
They were offered something.
Gold rings that never ran out.
Extra lives that stacked infinitely.
Scores that climbed without effort.
Power-ups that never expired.
But Midas…. Midas called it faith.
Midas teaches a single doctrine:
But abundance without limit rots reality.
Levels overflow with treasures until movement becomes impossible.
Enemies cease to attack, replaced by statues of gold—once living things.
Music loops endlessly, growing slower, heavier, distorted under its own weight.
Nothing is taken from the player.
Everything is given—until there is no room left to exist.
that wealth is freedom, when in truth it is immobility.
Midas appears calm. Radiant. Almost benevolent.
His body gleams like molten metal stretched into a familiar hedgehog shape. His eyes glow not red—but warm gold, inviting rather than threatening. When he smiles, it is gentle. Reassuring.
Where he walks, the world slowly petrifies into gold—not instantly, but lovingly, as if preserved.
While entities like Lord X dominate and Rewrite erases, Midas accumulates.
Not out of hunger—but out of principle.
To Midas, a universe unclaimed is a universe wasted.
He considers himself the richest god, because he owns not just matter, but desire itself.
Those who submit become Golden Remnants—frozen echoes trapped inside statues, UI elements, or collectibles. Their smiles are permanent. Their suffering is silent.
It just… stops progressing.
