What's your take on the philosophy behind Puzzleshipping? I'm very curious after seeing some of your works! 👀🌹

ooooo my philosophy...

i'm always operating under the pretense that yugi+yami are sharing a body. this dynamic is so important to me, it's the very foundation of yami's character and yugi's role in the story, and to separate them feels like sacrilege. it's not even about romance really. it's about the intimacy of seeing out of someone elses eyes, hearing with his ears, knowing every thought and feeling every emotion without needing to use words.

my favorite flavor of puzzleship is just the right blend of mind-bending and mildly questionable. they're literal soul mates, they enable one another, they bring out both the best and the worst in each other. yami learns mercy and in return teaches yugi confidence; yami saves yugi's life, yugi digs yami's grave. bound by chains.....

Yugi or Atem?

Yugi for sure! I love his character so much, I wish the anime treated him better...The manga characterized him beautifully!

Though at the same time, I really enjoy Atem too...It's hard to favorite only one of them when they're so closely connected and bonded :,D

If Anzu's in a suit then would the others be in dresses? Or would they all just looksmax with suits they can all pull off (I doubt Jonouchi would wear it properly)

They seem like they'd be really stiff in suits though but their face card gives them a pass...Anzu might have to be the one to teach them not to look so robotic 😭

I imagine Yami and Yugi as a piano and violin duo. I think Rachmaninoff's style would somewhat suit them, even if Piano Concerto No. 1 itself isn't written as a duet...I just think, wouldn't it be cool to see that in action? They would be in total sync, a bit like how they were with the puzzle. Instead it's music that binds them together...
