 I got my inspiration for that edit from this (scroll down to “illustrations” I pretty much did the same thing, but without the shading).

(in case you havent used the pen tool before) Watch this video, or search for other videos, to help you practice and get use to using the pen tool. This can also help you if you’re using photoshop. The pen tool will be your best friend for this edit.
