Story telling, let's be real now... The incursions is actually not needed and it just the team unable find a way to explain the past better, I mean they already made the heroes lore drop to RH in one quest like it's nothing while at the same time they barely know them. We CAN have RH having their own story by making them glitching out after saving the heroes because of course... It'll effects RH's fate too indirectly, and they have to go back and do something about it but I guess the dev just want RH as bland blank canvas mc 🫠

Pace, the story is too fast barely showing the character trust development towards RH, it's only clear on Zenon this guy is suspicious of RH, while others npcs? Trusted them right away which is just... Not great, don't start with Valentin literally not having a proper quest and even his character quest is... Not good enough.

Game too easy, you can be op in a few hours into the game and survive with that one build for the ENTIRE GAME, and I hate how they nerf the enemy and buff weapon/jail too because some players are being a noisy about it being too hard, you know what they said, git gud.

Environment design... It's only good the indoors part, I'm sorry to say that but the design is either too empty, doesn't make sense, or just confusing.

Character design, it's... Alright? There's some parts that I kinda wish they push more and it's the "Revenant's body are deformed" it's very visible on the male characters, but on female characters it less and leaning more to "slim/long and pretty" so they're deformed, but by some beauty standards those are more "pretty" deformed than what they're doing to the male characters, and the fashion? Idfk anymore it's all mixed up ☠️

UI design is a mess, idk what they're trying to do here genuinely, it feels like they try hard to push it as sci-fi while at the same time sprinkle some ancient here and there.

OST is still good, but they throw away the opportunity to make it as story telling, in CV1 we have more vocal ost compared to CV2 and it can be a good way to explain and tell a story about the character, but they choose not to, and I hate to say this it is good but I can't find one that hit as hard as CV1.

Soulless, I hate that this game is soulless... There's a lot of part in this game that just felt a bit too empty, making it feels like it's all just being made with money as the goal.

Too much reused content, like actually too much, c'mon dev this is a game that have no connection to the first game why are you doing this? o(-( it makes it even more lazy if you think about it, sure some are being rework and repainted but??? Y'know what I mean.

Price, I'm gonna be blunt this game is overpriced for what they gave us, and the whole merch that keeps coming is genuinely upsetting me, CV1 didn't have all this thing.

How important is character? There's 2 characters that I'm gonna say can be NOT IMPORTANT AT ALL, first it's Iris hew whole thing is just boosters but I feel like if she didn't exist and booster just put to npc quest it'll still work, second..m you might be surprised with this, Noah yes I'm surprised too, if you didn't save him for the entire game it'll still going pretty much normal just there's never a bridge, not even Val talk about his death which I'm surprised I was hoping for a cutscene or something to explain what happened if you didn't save him. And RH, they can be anyone and their interaction with other characters almost feel like nothing, and in the first place they have nothing to do with the whole plot of savings revenant, they just exist and do whatever tf the revenants told them to do like this mf really supposed to be there but at the same time, they feel like they shouldn't be there due to how so little the relationship development towards them and other npcs it feels too little, especially with how so fast npcs trusted them.

Replaced, I'm gonna be honest, I don't see the team gonna continue the og CV after this or even make a new CV game, they completely abandoned CV1, and I'll say that I'm 100% sure of this IF this anniversary also included CV2 cash and have CV2 merch more than CV1, AND CV1 merch just gonna be restock of the older merch. DON'T SAY "oh, I'm sure they'll just take like FF route" it won't work, I'm telling you that now.

"CODE VEIN" Removal, I know not a lot of people gonna be agree with me, but CV2 really just shouldn't be exist or at least make just a new IP, the og CV really fits the game with the place we're in being called Vein and code being sci-fi related, while in CV2 it's not really there the Revenant are actually called Vampire by the original (JP) they completely erase the revenant term, it does still fits at some part example Noah, Lyle and RH case where they're resurrected which fit the term revenant, but most are just born as revenant.

Straight to the point, CV2 is a failure worse than CV, if you like the game then good for you after all game made to be enjoyed, and everyone has different tastes.
