All you need is a pea-size amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush. Don’t waste it! Brush at a 45 degree angle so the bristles of your toothbrush meet both the tooth and the gum line. Circular motions, full mouth, 2 minutes. DO NOT RINSE WITH WATER! You’ll defeat the purpose of the toothpaste!

Toothpaste contains fluoride, which is integral in helping remineralize or strengthen your enamel. Brushing just removes the debris in your mouth and stimulates your gum tissue. Instead of rinsing, just keep spitting- you want the fluoride to really saturate into the teeth as much as possible.

If you wanna use mouthrinse, wait 20 minutes AFTER you brush. Just to make sure you’ve let the toothpaste do it’s therpeautic magic.

And FLOSS before you brush. Just to remind you to floss. The toothbrush can’t get into those in-between spaces.
