she appreciated family time. she would never let the other know that she appreciated his presence, even if most days all laura wanted to do was be alone. it was a sense of belonging that she liked most, like someone had took time out of their day to want to be with her. she raises an eyebrow, looking at her brother and then at the record that he was appreciating. “okay jackass.” she says, grabbing one that she recognized as well, fleetwood mac, “that just means i get to stab you,” her smile is sweet, knowing damn well that when it came to fights they were about on par as anyone could be. “what are you looking at, old man?” she peers her head now, her chin resting on his shoulder in an annoying way trying to read what the album was. 

laura, voice memo: wow this is so much better ! anyway just letting you know that i miss you loads at the mansion like i know you’re out there doing your thing but sometimes i just miss seeing you day to day ? but if you tell anyone this i will stab you , but like lovingly ya know ? i would never actually stab you maybe like a little poke or something (you can hear laura quite literally going ‘hehe’) anyway i uh am a little drunk if you couldn’t tell , we should do breakfast in the morning or something . anyway if you’re asleep , sleep well my beloved . bye ! “can i get--” she starts off saying, her voice drowned out by the outside noises that is new york city. “can i just--” she says again, sighing, she waits for the two people to stop talking, its crowded in this bakery and laura had just gotten back from another one of her little trips out of state, her temper is a short fuse because she’s hungry. it doesn’t take long for her claws to come out, she hears a gasp and she uses it to stab her two donuts holding them above her head before she’s walking out the door back onto the busy street. she plucks one of the donuts off her claw and sticks it in her mouth, her eyes looking up at the person. “i’m hungry, fuck off.”
