Not necessarily hidden gems but here's the ones im really fond of

💙Um Jammer Lammy -- Actually my favorite game in the PaRappa series I'm not kidding

💙Pandemonium 1 and 2 -- The first game is kinda bullshit but it still has a certain charm to it and I love the medieval setting. Not so much of a fan of the designs in the sequel but the gameplay itself is way better.

💙Gex Trilogy -- No comment I think it speaks for itself.

💙Suzuki Bakuhatsu -- Peak game where you defuse bombs. A lot of people call this one weird because haha Japan game designers must be on drugs soooo funny right. But nah this one is super cool and it sucks that it's Japan only because I'd really like to be able to read what the hell is going on 💀

💙Planet Dob -- The game that converted me into a Dobber. Again I wish this wasn't Japan only I like how the collectibles (The Bits) are kinda tied to the soundtrack. Like the more of them you get the more pieces of the soundtrack you get to hear

💙Abe's Oddysee + Exoddus -- I like that there's a dedicated fart button

💙Vib Ribbon -- I can't get the play your own CD feature to work on an emulator sadly but regardless I love this game to death this was like an og obsession of mine

💙Rayman 1 -- Yes this game is hard to the point where it'll make you whip out a rope and a stepping stool but I happen to be one of those people who love a good challenge and this game is just that 🔥

💙Incredible Crisis -- Quite possibly the world's unluckiest family. Taneo was hitting that shit though

💙Bust A Groove -- Im so dumb because for the longest time I couldn't figure out how to play this damn game 😭😭 sick concept though I like how the camera acts as a health bar kinda

💙Croc -- I'm not a fan of tank controls so I didn't get too far into this game but Croc himself is so cute I love him

💙Glover -- A port of everyone's favorite N64 Classic!! A slightly shitty port actually I just fw it because its Glover

💙Hermie Hopperhead -- I just like Hermie's design thats it 💔

💙Brain Dead 13 -- Another port but damn im a sucker for fmv games

💙Kula World -- Again no comment we know the deal here

💙Pepsi Man -- As the #1 Pepsi Glazer this game was made for me

💙SkullMonkeys -- I think I heard about this game before the Neverhood. If an entire platformer made out of clay isn't the most impressive thing on this planet idk what is. I hate the creator sucks though gross

💙Eggs of Steel -- Idk I just be playing shit I thought it looked interesting 😭

💙Intelligent Qube -- I think if I played this as a kid it would've scared me shitless

I feel like in all of stories, particularly with a troubled development, scenes that come out of nowhere or character behavior that doesn’t make sense are often relics of earlier scripts, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case here.

Like Buck Cluck made more sense when you know that in the original, not only was Chicken little was actually wrong about the sky falling and Chuck didn’t reveal it, but Chicken was constantly letting her imagination and paranoia about disasters run wild.
