First off, I will not accept ANY STRATT SLANDER. She’s doing her best and her actions are the reason the world got (presumably) saved. Yes that sucks but also she was doing everything right under the circumstances she tried SO hard to be nice about it. Her voice breaking when Grace was running away??? Fuck man. She’s such a stern, stoic character, and yet… ouch.

Shockingly I didn’t cry, I don’t usually cry at movies but I definitely expected to. The closest I got to crying was when Stratt was singing at the party. What an incredible song choice.

Speaking of song choices, Gracias a la Vida was so perfect, if you haven’t looked up the English lyrics I highly recommend that you do because they’re so beautiful and work so well with the themes

Yes I believe in grey-aro/ace Grace, yes I also believe every platonic-ish polycule with Grace, Adrian, and Rocky, and yes Grace is also Stratt’s long lost tragic dead wife story.

Idk I think something was there. I’m glad they didn’t shoehorn any kind of love story in there because I think it would’ve…maybe not RUINED the movie but it certainly wouldn’t be as good, but idkkkk maybe I’m delusional but I felt the tension. The pull was there.

Also they did SUCH a good job aging Stratt in the final scene. Can you tell I maybe like her character a little bit?

Seperate side thing. I understand movie logic. But if I was in Grace’s position I definitely would not be wearing clothes. Just sayin.
