hey guys i literally have never done this before but i truly truly feel desperate in a way i never have before. our 3 month old kitten has been having cluster seizures, every 12 hours in the last two days. ive watched him have three. we took him to the emergency vet but they cant do the exams he needs, theres a very real possibility well have to take him to multiple vets and i already know its going to get pricey and i just cant afford it on my own.
im trying to write this in as non-guilt trippy a way as possible but please, if you can at all, please help me. please at least reblog. i need to get him to someone who can help as soon as possible because every 12 hours that passes is another seizure. im prepared for the worst but i want to give him every chance i can.

Not even a hundred years later, Jews across the world are being targeted for destruction by both White Supremacists and Jihadist Islamists. Both weaponize the same ideologies and tactics that the Nazis used, and both happily embrace the Nazi legacy. Both are emboldened, not disgusted, by the nearly unprecedented increase in antisemitic hate crimes. They are openly calling for our death in our streets and our subways and our political offices.
And yes, in some countries, they are met with opposition by the average citizen. In some countries, decent and caring and inclusive people stand up for us. And in some countries, they win. But not all the time. When they lose, you have to reconcile with the truth:
The Holocaust didnβt happen because the average person in Eastern Europe failed to stop the Nazis. The Holocaust happened because the average person in Eastern Europe was a Nazi. And if the average person is a Nazi in any other nation, at any other time, it will happen again.
And letβs be clear here about what exactly the US Presidential election results mean. Because as of current writing, this was not a spoiled election. There is no swing state that Harris would have won even if she had gotten all of Jill Steinβs votes. And this wasnβt a close race. Donald Trump is on track to win every swing state. This wasnβt even an Electoral College issue. Donald Trump won the popular vote.
As of writing, under 65% of eligible voters turned out for this election. And 51% of those voters chose the white supremacist felon who praises Hitler and said heβd be a dictator on day one. Which means that about seventy percent of the population of the United States either voted for a fascist, or is comfortable being complacent with fascism.
The average person in the United States is a fascist.
Do people realize that choosing to deal with the outcome of this election by going into the inbox of minorities on Tumblr (particularly Arab people) and blaming them is probably not the look they want to go for if they want to dispute that they have internalized racism or view people of color as their punching bag for something that had nothing to do with them

the most depressing part is that it's not even kamala's stance on genocide that is costing her the elections. i wish it were. it's people genuinely shifting for trump. but it's the pro-palestine movement that's going to get the blame for it.
obviously she fucked up on that front and on multiple other fronts (an understatement) but if these results have showed anything it's that the alt right white majority will never vote for a black woman even if she were perfect. but liberals will blame arabs for the faults of white nationalism and misogyny. at this point if you're blaming the pro-palestine movement and saying shit like "are you happy now? is this what you wanted?" you're just brimming with anti-arab hatred that you're desperate to release at any given opportunity
so what now? the genocide is still ongoing and the rise of fascism is unimpeded but now people will point to those most affected by it and saying "this is what you wanted, right?" and you and i could spend the next four years arguing and yelling at those people or we can do something that matters.
