Rycroft gave a bit of a tired smile, shoulders relaxing slightly, feeling the tension within his body beginning to dissipate. "Not many people would willingly step in and intervene," he says, with relief within his tone, finding himself becoming more relaxed around the orange-haired man before him.
"This isn't the first time that this has happened, unfortunately, for us artists, it's.... something that we're forced to endure. It's annoying, and that's why we usually talk with potential models for our works in public spaces to avoid that type of behaviour." A sigh passes through Rycroft's lips, shaking his head and looking over towards the toppled table. "Guess that's not helping anymore."
With stalkers becoming more and more prevalent with the rise of social media, and while Rycroft wasn't by any means defenceless, given the fact that he brought insurance with him as a means of safety. The fact that he didn't have to use it brought some sense of relief, but the exasperation remained.
"I figured as much." Rycroft's smile turned into a slight teasing smile, straightening his posture. "The very least I can do is buy you a coffee or something as thanks."
Rycroft reached out and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, Ichigo. I'm Rycroft Nightwood," he scratches the side of his cheek. "Guess I stick out like a sore thumb, huh? I'm Canadian, by the way, just in case you were wondering."
He blinks, interested. "A translator? That's pretty amazing. Do you just translate between Japanese and English, or do you handle a multitude of languages?" It was a genuine curiosity; being multilingual was not something to scoff at. "Oh, no, no, not a photographer. I'm just an art student on campus."
