Plus rich people are just handed a lot of money, whether they earn it or not, and no one questions that. Only poor people getting money gets interrogated over and over and over again.

I’d like to add a footnote to this thread that the US gives more money (by way of the income tax reduction) to homeowners than it does to poor people who need subsidized housing.

There's also this assumption that if people were just handed enough money to live that they'd do absolutely nothing, as if they'd be satisfied being completely bored all the time. They'd still buy food. They'd still buy video games. They'd still go out and get coffee and put money into the economy even if they didn't want to work because they still want to LIVE. They'd buy movies. They'd go DO stuff. I review comic books on the internet and I love doing it, but I often have to compromise on some things because I just can't afford to do otherwise and I stress out about stuff because I need to earn money.

ok but I really don’t understand why we bare bears isn’t getting very many views considering it is fucking incredibly written, the animation is cute as fuck, and the plot and stories are great! not to mention there’s high hopes for lgbtq+ representation right now (and has had a few lgbtq background characters so far) and also there’s huge diversity in the show (including characters that speak different languages in the show normally)!! the episodes are clever, whether it be in their humor or in their ability to tug on the viewers heartstrings!!! seriously yall please go give it a shot! especially if you’re fans of steven universe, gravity falls, adventure time, ok ko and star vs because it is a great addition and should be recognized!!!!

Can you tell that to EVERY SINGLE household please?! I know there are some who don’t care, but, like…yeah.

They’re not wrong. I gave my nail person a $20 tip because she did a good job, didn’t hurt me taking my old acrylics off and because I felt bad I kept her passed their closing time by 15 minutes because she had to finish my nails. I also tip as much as I can at baristas and if I feel they’ve tried their best (waiters/waitresses/ servers) Customer service is brutal. Sometimes just a few extra bucks can be a huge difference to someone’s night.
