Rainy Afternoon // Kotone & Kazuki {Event}
âOh, yeah!  Iâve battled a few people who had Jumpluffs.  I think Whimsicott are cuter, but I suppose Iâm a bit biased.â  Kazuki chuckled to himself.  âHime will be happy to see you Iâm sure.  Sheâs veryâŠfriendly.â  He chose his words carefully.  Friendly was a nice way to put it, but obnoxious was probably a better word.  As they finally neared the treehouse, Kazuki put two fingers in his mouth and whistled; a few seconds later one of his PokĂ©mon flipped the ladder over the side of the porch.
âAfter you.â  He gestured for her to go first.  Kotoneâs Marill attempted to climb after her, but the rungs were too far apart for Azure to reach for the next one.  Kazuki scooped her under his arm and hurried up the ladder himself.  He placed Azure on the ground and opened the door to let in the trainer and her PokĂ©mon.
âHome sweet home.â  Hime bounded up to Kazuki as soon as she saw he had guests.  The Whimsicott was overjoyed to see a new potential playmate and immediately attempted to engage the Marill in play.  The rest of his team was rather unaffected by the new arrivals in comparison.  âWell, this is the family.â  He pointed to each of his PokĂ©mon to offer Kotone their names.â
âHime the Whimsicott, Tatsue the Cofagrigus, Hiro the Reuniclus, Tadaaki the Emolga, Reiji the Mienshao. Â Itâs okay if you canât remember their names, itâs not like they would pay them any mind.â Â Reiji hurmphâed in reponse, turning his nose upward. Â Kazuki gestured towards the fire that Tadaaki was poking at with a stick. Â âFeel free to warm up, I need to go change.â
With that he quickly kicked off his shoes and entered his bedroom to find a fresh pair of clothes.
Kotone shouted down a âthanks!â to Kazuki when the other picked up her Marill in order to get up the ladder. Truth be told she had only entered a treehouse one time before and that was when she was looking for a place to stay, but once she saw exactly how high up she was, the girl decided that perhaps living on the ground would be a better ideaâno use living in a place that would scare the wits out of you.
Upon entering the home, the girl was surprised at the number of foreign PokĂ©mon that were inside at once. She didnât usually let more than one PokĂ©mon out at a time unless it was for battle, but then again, she had a 445lb. Armor PokĂ©mon in her possession. Azure happily accepted the Whimsicottâs offer to play and, despite being as wet as could be, went off to play with the other Fairy-type for the time being.
After thanking the boy for his hospitality, Kotone took off her raincoat and left it by the doorâunlike Azure, she didnât particularly want to get the entire interior of this house soaked in rainwater. Heading over to the fire where Tadaaki was, she attempted to talk with the rest of his party as he went to change, despite the probability that theyâd all ignore her.
âHi everyone! My nameâs Kotoneâsorry if I canât remember you all off the top of my head.â She pointed at Hime, who was currently playing around with Azure and therefore paying no attention to her whatsoever. âPretty sure sheâs the Whimsicott... and... youâre Tadaaki! Kazuki mentioned you earlier!â A bright smile crossed her face as she pointed to the Emolga, proud that she was able to remember these things in such little time.
                            âCrys, come back here!â
          The last time Tetsu had let Crys out by herself without any of his           other PokĂ©mon to assist him, she had practically ruined the set when           he took his eyes off her for one secondâŠ
          So why had he decided that letting her out alone was a good idea?!           The young man blamed the fact that because he thought it was a           forest, she couldnât possibly cause any trouble or break anything           important, but the moment he saw her taking off for a girl dressed in           blue and red he already knew what would happen. The baby Eevee           was probably enamored by her hat, which probably resembled a giant           marshmallow in her eyes, and the moment she pounced on the other he           let out a yelp of agony.
            âI-Iâm so sorry! Sheâs quite the mischievous one, a-are you alright?â
             "Are you sure? They look just like white camellias though,                                   so how can you tell the difference?
          The girl was currently bending down and inspecting a patch of flowers           that had a wide variety of species within it, her large Herb PokĂ©mon           next to her as she did so. It wasn't often that she found herself           interested in plants of any kind, but ever since arriving here Meguri           was completely enraptured by the large number of rare species that           existed here in the forest. So naturally she had to accompany him to           investigate the various floraâshe was his trainer after all.
          Lyra was so taken in her conversation with her Meganium that she           failed to hear the faraway cry of the young man in the distance until           it was too late. Before she knew it, a large force at the back of her           head sent her falling face-front into the flower patch, surprising           both the girl and her Pokémon alike. While luckily none of the           flowers were damaged, Meguri didn't waste time in picking up the           baby Pokémon by the scruff of her neck and off his trainer's poor           head. As the trainer of the Eevee approached them, she gave him a           smile despite her currently red and swelling forehead.
                 "Oh I'm fine, don't worry about me!                          Seems your Pokémon's pretty excited, huh?"
cottonguarding
        Kotone was pretty sure she could handle being in the fields on her ownâusually she'd have Meguri help her out, but lately he had started to become quite the glutton, stealing berries and fruit from right under her nose. She's pretty sure it's because she couldn't cook well enough to satisfy the Herb PokĂ©mon's stomach, but having him hoard all the food to himself was not something she needed right now.         So today, Mago was out with her in the fields instead. She wasn't exactly greedy like Meguri was, but given that she was still a baby in comparison to the rest of her PokĂ©mon, it made her quite curious and mischievous. The girl wasn't worried though; the Topegi was usually well-behaved and never got into too much trouble. She also had a few years of daycare experience under her belt, so it was safe to say she was relatively confident in her skills to handle baby PokĂ©mon.
        The loud squeals from the Egg Pokémon causes Kotone to raise her head and look towards the direction of Mago, who was currently trying to get her trainer's attention. She stands up from her place in her fields to get a better view of her tiny Pokémon, who's currently pointing in the direction of a pink-haired girl only a few yards away.         She's about to call out to greet the girl, seeing as her Togepi probably startled her since she turned around, but wait ! Those pigtails, that face... she knows who that is ! Kotone's face turns into that of shock and surprise as she says her next words with a loud astounded voice.
             â AâAh ! Aren't you Sakucchi from Momousa ? ! â

Forlorn Night // Kotone & Runa
Itâd already been two weeks since she found herself in the Forest â a little strange to realize, as the days slid into each other easily, enough for her to lose track of passing time. If it werenât for the lunar cycle, Runa doubted that she would have noticed at all. Despite evidence to the contrary, she wouldnât have been very surprised to see two moons in the sky, or some other irregular celestial occurrence, but thankfully the phases of the moon remained the same. Still, that the timing of the cycle didnât coincide with the one in her calendar, further evidence that where ever she was, it sure wasnât Kalos.
Moonlight cast the Forest in silver and shadows, a sight that took her breath away. The full moon was huge and brilliant in the clear night sky, seemingly closer than sheâd ever seen before. Lunis and Dianne were frolicking around the clearing, clearly enjoying themselves. Both were glowing â Lunisâ eyes and Dianneâs markings cast their own soft light. It was rather late, almost early, but her PokĂ©mon were quite energetic despite the hour. Runa was starting to feel rather drowsy; she wasnât as young as she used to be, accustomed to a fairly regular sleep cycle.
Try as she might, she really couldnât keep her eyes open any longer, drifting into light slumber. It wasnât until a strong gust of wind whipped her into her face that startled her awake. Yawning, she scanned the clearing for her PokĂ©mon, eyes catching on a humanoid shape under a tree. Was thatâŠ? No, it couldnât have been Miyuki, the other girl would have come to meet her, wouldnât she? Another gust of wind made her shiver involuntarily, and she pulled her jacket around her tightly. Why was the other person out so late? There were no PokĂ©mon around them, and as she walked closer, she saw that they, she, was sleeping.
Why were they sleeping outside? âExcuse me. Excuse me? Miss, are you alright?â She noticed with relief that the girl was stirring, though quite visibly groggy, to be expected. She repeated her query patiently. Did the other just find herself in the Forest? Did she not find a place to stay yet? How long was she out, was she cold? That barrage of questions stayed in her head; no use overwhelming the slowly awakening girl.
A soft groan escaped the girl's throat as her hands went up to rub the sleep out of her eyes, a habit of Kotone's whenever she was trying to wake up. Why in the world was it so dark and cold outside? Thankfully the moon was shining brightly tonight, bright enough so that she could easily make out the features of the girl in front of her. She had a visibly concerned expression on her face, and it took Kotone a few seconds to process her current situation before her face went red with embarrassment.
"A-Ahh, how embarrassing... I-I'm fine, it just looks like I've fallen asleep..." The girl turned her head away and covered her mouth as she spoke, not wanting the other to smell her morning breath. How careless of her, falling asleep outside... and for such a long time too, seeing as how the sun was nowhere to be seen. "I'm sorry for worrying you, I meant to just take a little nap but I guess I was more tired than I thought I was."
Kotone took her hat off and ran a hand through her hair as she stood up, hoping that she didn't look too messy after her so-called "nap." It was the first time she had slept for that long outside, but she was nevertheless thankful that this girl had found her. Otherwise, she probably would've caught a cold but she wouldn't be surprised if she ended up with one tomorrow. Her Pokémon had all been left back in the cabin; it wasn't like she planned on taking a nap outside, after all.
Lights of yellow and red in the distance caught the brown-haired girl's eye in the blue-tinted night scenery of the forest. A strange looking Umbreon and a large crescent-shaped Pokémon were having their fun in the night, and the girl couldn't help but be curious. "Are those Pokémon yours? I was wondering why you'd be out here at this hour, but if they're yours that would make sense." It seemed that despite having just woken up a moment ago, the girl was still as talkative as she usually was.
Iâm sorry for my inactivity! Seems like a lot has happened since I was gone...

Berries Harvest // Lyra & Keith {Event}
Keithâs heart sank at her reply. âReally?â He was almost hesitant to believe her, but if it was true and neither of them knew of their whereabouts⊠Instinctively, he clenched his fists in frustration. âIâm guessing thereâs no map of this place, then.â Now that she mentioned it, he figured his Styler would have given the same result â location unknown.
âThis is all way too weird,â he said as he noticed the Meganium taking one of her berries. Despite its tremendous size, it was apparently gentle, and to think heâd been scared by it just moments before⊠He had to mentally kick himself for that.
Her next question piqued his attention, his worries about the forest forgotten even if only momentarily. âOh? Iâm a Pokemon Ranger! I guess weâre not really as well-known as Trainers in a lot of regions, but instead of battling we work to protect Pokemon and their environments. Stuff like that, yâknow?âÂ
It took him a moment to realize he was starting to babble, and he paused.
âSpeaking of weird,â she exclaimed as she pointed her finger to the border of the clearing a few yards away, where a path leading somewhere was in plain sight. âThat path over there wasnât there when I decided to live in this house, but one day it was just... there. Isnât that strange?â
A puzzled look crossed her face as she said those words, but they disappeared as she listened to the other began to talk about being a PokĂ©mon Ranger. That was what they were called! The bright look that crossed his face made Lyra smile unconsciouslyâit was always a pleasure to see someone talk about something they were passionate for, and it showed very clearly in the boyâs face.
âSeems like you really enjoy your job!â she said as she grinned at him, her Meganium next to her nodding in agreement. âI think I came across a few when I was traveling, but they were Trainers as well as Rangers since they always challenged me to a battle.â
âActually, do you perhaps know how to cook with these?â she asked as she motioned to the fields behind her. âI have all these berries and vegetables ready to harvest, but itâs a little tedious to just eat them raw... ah, but if you donât itâs fine! I was just wondering!â
The girl grinned sheepishly as she scratched the back of her head, realizing that she really was talking too much.
Rainy Afternoon // Kotone & Kazuki {Event}
âIâm Kazuki.  Nice to see a friendly face in this gross weather.â  He wrinkled his nose and looked up when she mentioned his soaked state.  âAhâŠIâm already wet, thereâs no point in you getting soaked too.â  Waving his hand absentmindedly, he folded his arms.  They really should get out of the rain.  And he wouldnât mind a change of clothesâŠ
âAlthough I suppose it is a good idea to dry off. Â Tell you what, my tree house is just back that way.â Â He pointed towards the direction he had been running from. Â The roof to his house could be seen just poking over the treeline. Â âSince Tetsu probably wonât make an appearance anything soon, I think Iâm just going to go home for a bit to change. Â If you want to come with me I donât mind. Â We have a fire going right now if you want to warm up. Â Plus my Whimsicott is always looking for a new friend.â Â
Kazuki gave her a small smile and a thumbs up.
âThat sounds good to me!â she said, face beaming brightly as she returned the thumbs up. She turned her head to look over to where he was pointing, where the roof of the building in question stuck out just a bit from the leaves. Now she could finally stop feeling so guilty for being dry, though with Azure constantly trying to wiggle out of her grasp she was starting to get quite wet.
Kotone decided to finally put her down when they began to walk to Kazukiâs treehouse, her rain boots making loud sloshing sounds in the wet grass as Azure ran ahead of the two in the direction of the treehouse. âI donât think Iâve ever seen a Whimsicott before, but Iâve heard of them! They apparently look similar to Jumpluffâhave you heard of them before?â

Berries Harvest // Lyra & Keith {Event}
Relief flooded Keith when the Meganium let out another cry, this time of happiness â at least it wasnât out to maul him. It seemed that both the creature and its Trainer were friendly. He watched the girl pick her way around the abundant plants that her Pokemon had been tending to before Keithâs interruption. As she approached and he got a better look at her, he noticed that she was definitely dressed like a Trainer, or at least not like any Ranger heâd ever seen.Â
He felt himself smile back at her despite his persistent nerves. âAh, yeah. I think Iâve only been here for a couple days now.â Truthfully, as intuitive as he tried to be, heâd lost track of how long he had been here. Days blurred together, and he could only hope it hadnât been too long since his disappearance. âHey, listen, do you know where we are?â he asked cautiously, praying he didnât sound as crazy as he thought.
Keith jammed his hands in the pockets of his shorts. He realized he probably looked incredibly out of place in the brightly colored uniform, sticking out like a sore thumb. Under normal circumstances, he wouldnât have cared much â he was proud of his job, and he liked being distinguishable by it â but the peculiarity of everything in the forest put him on edge.Â
"Truth be told... Iâm not sure where we are either.â she replied, laughing the slightest at how strange her answer mustâve seemed. After all, shouldnât that have been a big problem? âI just stopped wondering after a while, since my PokĂ©gear doesnât help much either; it says âlocation unknownâ no matter where I go in this place.â
âOh! I canât remember how long Iâve been here either, isnât that strange?â she exclaimed as her Herb PokĂ©mon bent his head down to nab an Oran Berry from a nearby plant. Lyra turned her head to look at him, curious of the reason behind his movement. She chuckled upon seeing his mouth chewing the missing blue berry, and reached out to gently pet his wet head before looking back at the boy.
âIf you donât mind me asking, whatâs your job? Your uniform looks strangely familiar...â
Rainy Afternoon // Kotone & Kazuki {Event}
âAh, no Iâm from Unova.  I suppose our PokĂ©mon arenât exactly easy to find outside the region.  Fraxure is a Dragon-type.  Heâs about three feet tall and looks mean.  Like heâd trade your life for a Oran berry mean.â  Kazuki half laughed.  âDonât tell him I said that though.  Itâd be nice to have an extra pair of eyes actually.  Trust me, even if you donât know what a Fraxure looks likeâŠyouâll know.â
The black haired boy was getting tired of sloshing around in the rain, but hopefully with the girls help heâd find Tetsu and be able to dry off soon.  He couldnât help but smile at her comment.  âYeah, Electric-types are a handful.  I guess you should expect it from a PokĂ©mon who literally shoots lightning from his little paws.â  Kazuki covered his mouth to keep in a laugh.  âActually he would have a lot of fun trying to chase after your Marill.â
The girl couldnât help but laugh at the otherâs description of his own PokĂ©mon; it was quite amusingâprobably a different kind of humor that Unovians were used toâbut nevertheless she was thoroughly entertained. It had also been a while since the last time she had laughed so genuinely, and she couldnât help but hope they would be good friends some time in the future. She then steeled herself up, mentally preparing herself to find the otherâs Fraxure in this storm, when she realized something.
âOh, I just realized I never introduced myself! My nameâs Kotone, and yours?â she asked, giving the other a smile despite the weather. âIâll be sure to let you know when I spot this mean PokĂ©mon of yours!â
The dual-type PokĂ©mon in her arms suddenly squirmed at the mention of being chased by an Electric-type, letting out a cry of discontent. Kotoneâs smile only grew wider as she let out a small laugh.
âIt seems Azure doesnât like the idea of that, but Iâm sure sheâd be fine even if he did.â she commented, and ignored the slight whine that came from her round friend. Noting that the downpour that just didnât seem to be stopping, Kotone looked towards the boy who was currently soaked to the bone. âAre you sure you wouldnât like to borrow my umbrella? I feel bad being... mostly dry when youâre all wet like that.â
Gone â Red & Lyra
kumiuta
    Scarlet hues gazed around the quiet clearing for the seemingly hundredth or even thousandth    time.  A meadow, a completely different environment compared to the never-ending winter of       Mount Silver had greeted him when he woke up which was strangeâhe did not leave the            mountain.  He couldnât.  Not with a trainer missing because of him.Â
    A soft sigh escaped as he continued to flip through his notebook, chin tucked in to rest on his   Pikachuâs head.  The pokemon had situated itself comfortably between his shirt and his torso, a   habit it had done while the pokemon were in the freezing temperatures of the mountain.  It           seemed to be reading his the messily scrawled writing along with him.
     He had gotten into the habit of sketching, or writing notes about the places he had been, but    there was no place like this in it.  Clearly he was not in Kanto anymore, but there was no logical reason why he ended up here.  He had fallen asleep in his usual campsite after an unsuccessful search for the female trainer, and woke up in a field of grass with a swinub crawling over him in search of berries.Â
     Gloved digits continued to flip through the old book as his red gaze skimmed every page, drawing and doodle he had done.  The thing that soon broke him out of his trance was when he heard his Pikachuâs excited cry.  The twitching ears of the pokemon grazed his cheek softly, as the mouse pokemon jumped out of his shirt, before breaking into a dash between the trees. Â
     His book was stuffed back into his bag, before he stumbled up and jogged to keep up, catching sight of the electric typeâs triangular tail vanishing between the bushes.  His ears picked up an excited gasp before a sigh escaped. Â
    Had his Pikachu tackled someone by mistake?
    It had been one of those days again, where her curiosity and hopes got the better of her. Lyra found it funny that she felt compelled to explore the place; she had put great care into detail when she first arrived here, scouring the entire area for any possible exit to this bewildering forest for several days in a row after she was convinced that she wasn't dreaming or in a coma. The thought of missing the chance of seeing Ethan once again weighed heavily on her mind then, and she was desperate to leave the place.
    But after being told from several people who were in the same situation as her that it was simply impossible to leave, she had stopped trying. After all, what was the point in trying when everyone else, who were all just as capable as she was, couldn't leave? Grief overwhelmed her as she struggled to grasp the concept of never being able to see her friends, Red, her parents, or Ethan ever again. It was simply too much to bear all at once.
    But perhaps it was due to the forest as well, that she was slowly able to accept that factâit was in no way harmful nor did it pose any dangers other than the unnerving but ever-present fog. If anything, it put her soul at rest slowly, gently, patiently, until she was calm and had accepted the fact that she would be here for a while. So here she was, exploring the forest not out of dire need, but to quell her own curiosity about it.
    "You know, Azure, other than that weird rock and the Pokémon Center near it, this is just a regular forest isn't it?" After waiting several moments expecting an answer that never came, the girl turned to look behind her to see her Marill lagging quite a ways behind her, looking exhausted. Feeling bad for pushing her partner so much, she was about to turn and walk back towards her until she was tackled by something bright yellow.
    A loud gasp escaped her mouth as she fell onto her rear, and it wasn't long until the face of an ecstatic Pikachu entered her vision, rubbing its head against her excitedly. Lyra was confused at what exactly was happeningâshe hadn't seen any Pikachus in the wild, so where did this one come from? But the moment she heard Azure's joyful cry as she rushed towards the Electric Mouse PokĂ©mon, a realization dawned on her as the sound of footsteps got louder from the nearby bushes. Her heart sped up as the gears in her head fell into place, and her eyes widened as she looked up to meet the gaze of a too-familiar trainer. The girl's lips quivered as they opened, speaking the name of a person she thought she would never see again.
    "... Red?"
Berries Harvest // Lyra & Keith {Event}
Keith jumped at the sound of the Meganiumâs outcry. He wasnât trying to stare; he must have spaced out while wandering and didnât notice heâd stumbled upon another personâs cabin until it was too late. He prayed that her Pokemon didnât view him as threatening â not only was it a really bad first impression, but with his Styler still wrecked he was defenseless if the thing attacked.
He had to remind himself that by the looks of it, this probably wasnât a wild Pokemon. It was friendly to the girl, at least. He guessed she was probably a Trainer⊠which further confirmed his suspicion that this forest wasnât anywhere near his home region. He felt a creeping sense of dread at that, but he pushed it down and tried to refocus himself.
âUh⊠hey,â he began, trying to stem his nervousness. He wasnât usually this awkward, but he was also never great with new people â especially people with giant Pokemon that may or may not have considered him a threat. âI was just, uh, looking around. Didnât mean to freak you guys out or anything.â
From what Lyra could see, the other was a bit unnervedâprobably at being caught staring or something. That and, her Meganium was, in a way, intimidating due to his size. Fortunately for him though, Meguri was the most gentle member of her team, evidenced by the fact that he let out a cry of happiness and began to follow his trainer as she turned towards the boy.
âHello! I havenât seen you here before, are you new around here?â Lyra asked, keeping a smile on her face in order to try and alleviate his nerves. She made his way over to him, taking care to not step on any of her plants as she did so. Thankfully she was wearing boots, or else the mud wouldâve been up past her knees.
Upon getting closer, she noted that his uniform bore a similar resemblance to those of some trainers she had come across in Kanto. However, their name was on the tip of her tongue and simply wouldnât come to mind. Sheâs probably ask him what his job isânot that his outfit was strange, of course, since you probably couldnât get any stranger than Dragon Tamer outfits, after all.
Rainy Afternoon // Kotone & Kazuki {Event}
Kazuki shook out his hair and smiled.  âNo, Iâm fine.  It was my fault for not watching where I was going anyway.â  He glanced into the treeline to see if his PokĂ©mon was nearby, but didnât see any signs of the Dragon-type.  Sighing, he turned back to the girl.  âMy Fraxure ran off.  I was chasing after him but it looks like heâs split.â  He had probably already made it back to the tree house.
âThis isâŠnot how I thought today was going to go.â  There was a crack of thunder and Kazuki flinched.  âAre you sure itâs a good idea to be walking around with a Water-type when thereâs all this lightning?  My Emolga has already shocked me a few times.â  He gave her a sheepish grin.  âNot that he wouldnât do that anyway.âÂ
âA... Fraxure?â the girl repeated questionably, confusion evident on her face. She had never heard of such a PokĂ©mon before.
âAre you not from the Johto or Kanto region? Iâve never seen or heard of a Fraxure before... can I help you find him? Or at least assist you somehow since I still feel bad for Azure making you crash into a tree.â she said, smiling a little as she realized how strange it sounded to point out his earlier mishap.
âYou have a good point, actually... but Iâve never had a problem with lightning and I always have a PokĂ©mon walking with me in the rain, this little one in particular.â she commented, giving the other a grin as she motioned to the content Marill in her arms. âIs Emolga an Electric-type PokĂ©mon? I should probably be glad I donât have any on me, shouldnât I?â she said as she laughed at the otherâs expression.

Forlorn Night // Kotone & Runa
Despite the forest being one of the most bizzare places she had ever come across, Kotone couldn't deny that it made her feel calm, serene and at peace. The gentle rustling of the leaves from high above, the far away chatter of wild PokĂ©mon, the light breeze that often weaved through townâthere was just something about it all that made her feel extremely relaxed, even with the mysterious and everpresent white fog that prevented her from leaving the forest.
So relaxed, actually, that the girl drifted off into a peaceful slumber underneath a tree next to a flower patch. She liked to take naps if she had the opportunity to, and she had been especially stressed after her life-scarring fall when she was moments away from meeting her long-time childhood friend. Sleep didn't come easily to Kotone for the first few nights in the forest, but after a few days her heart was slowly starting to recover. Though it would've been great if she could finally meet Ethan face to face, that was asking for too much right now... right?
Being so sleep-deprived, the girl did not even awaken once the air grew cooler and the sun disappeared under the horizon. The full moon was now high in the sky, and was the only source of light in the area. A concerned voice spoke to her and she stirred just the slightest in response. Her brown eyes opened halfway, and her drowsy eyes could only make out a messy blur of pink.
Berries Harvest // Lyra & Keith {Event}
"Megu, how're they lookin'?"
The trainer stood underneath the eaves of her cabin with only an open umbrella in hand as she watched her Meganium looking over the fields. Lyra had little experience in taking care of plants and the like, so she was quite glad that she had at least one Grass-type Pokémon that could help her with this task. The Herb Pokémon, completely unbothered by the rain, let out a cry of satisfaction towards his trainer after his inspection.
"Oh, they're ripe already?" Her question was answered with an eager nod from Meguri and a wide grin spread across her face as she approached the fields. "That's great! I didn't expect them to be ready so soon butâah, I don't even cook that well, let alone with Berries... hm..."
The girl put her fingers to her chin, pondering on what she could do with a whole field of fresh berries. Sure, she and her Pokémon could just eat them raw, but that would get boring fast. She wasn't particularly great at cooking but she did know of a few recipes she could experiment with. In her thoughts, Lyra failed to notice the figure of a young boy watching from afar until Meguri's cry brought her attention towards him.
