One of those rare days where there weren’t many surfers at the river wave. Coolest part about there being so few surfing was Gerry Lopez was one of the few.

There was a lot of surfers waiting in line for the main surfing wave, so I challenged my dad to a battle of the wave boogie boarding contest on the smallest wave at the park. The competition is basically him and I riding a party wave together with the goal to see who can ride the wave the longest without being sucked over.

Coolest thing about the gateway arch is the roller coaster tram ride to the top; combination of ferris wheel and elevator it’s the only ride like it in the world. Traveling West; a covered wagon pulled by an ox or mules took 4.5 months, driving in a car takes 30 hours, flying in an airplane take 3 hours.
