This is Bessie. She and her husband, Daniel, took care of everything during my stay in Joel Village. Her nshima & relishes were delicious and I'm incredibly grateful for their hospitality.

This is Benson. He runs a vegetarian restaurant out of his home and invites travelers to visit for a taste of traditional Zambian food with a twist. He also has a duck that likes to be pet on the head.  

I had the incredible privilege to spend some time in the Eastern Province of Zambia with Impact Network, a non-profit working to improve access to education in rural areas of the country through community schools and an e-learning platform. Photographing and filming the work they're doing on the ground was an incredible experience - it was so inspiring to see how education invigorates an entire community and the passion the kids, teachers and their families have for the schools.
