Not all dreams have a meaning, but I feel there’s something fishy about this one...
So, I woke up this morning in a panic of this creepy dream I had. I normally always dream of being on a resort near an ocean, on a cruise ship, swimming in the ocean, walking along the beach of a body of water, water parks, or on a small boat streaming through lake/ channel — basically, I’m constantly dreaming about water and it usually symbolize that I’m calm. These are typically relaxing peaceful dreams of being on vacation.
But. This dream was a little different, and I’m curious to other’s analogy as to what I describe. Fact: I’m moving into a new home in 2 weeks, so yes, this could just be a stressed associated dream. The thing is that this dream started out peaceful, and gradually became more... tense. The main part I’m concern with was this:
I walk down the steps behind my cousin Brooke who was drinking white wine (I don’t normally hang out with Brooke as she lives in NC). We planned on walking along the boardwalk of the beach that looked out over a channel where the ocean came through.
we were then on a white-washed pier that was broken near the front (part furthest into the ocean) and slanted into the water. It looked like a fun to see how it would work as a slip & slide, and I went right into the ocean, but further out than expected.
I was fine until I saw that I almost slid into a boulder, and as I looked around saw more large sharp rocks that could have damaged my limbs. “That was close” I remember thinking, and swam back to the pier. I see two sharks swim out beneath the pier as if I saw them from underwater — but i could hear my cousin Megan and Brook above quite verbally to hurry up and get out. These two sharks looked like a combination of the Leopard shark but with long whiskers of a catfish. (Literally the safest shark that could attack a human)
I remember fighting them off — scaring them to not eat/attack me. (I may have woken up and fell back sleep, because ) the next thing I remember is waking up in the open vast ocean by them and a bite on my elbow — not sure if my arm was completely bit off, or just a chuck.
So now the main question is:
Is this just a stressed dream about moving to somewhere new?
or one of the “shark attack” dream analogies:
If you dream about being on the beach and a shark suddenly attacks, it signifies something unexpected coming into your life. (Such as my moving doesn’t go so smoothly or someone — or two people — will try to deceit me in the near future and I don’t see it coming. I found it ironically that I dreamt of two sharks attacking while the same time of my two cousins, Megan and Brooke — that I don’t talk to very much — are parallel. Could these two cousins deceive me with false help, or are really trying to help me from two other beings)
If sharks are attacking you in your dreams, it signifies accidents at home or in the workplace
When you dream about sharks biting off your hands or arms, this signifies hostile co-workers attacking you (or an injury that will prevent you from working with your hands or having work)

Or — because the Sharks that I specifically dreamt about are not “real” shark species, and in fact a combination of two creature that are NOT deathly towards human swimmers (ie: Leopard sharks rarely attack humans, and if they did, the bites are minor in comparison to bull sharks) And a catfish, that perhaps the shark analogy doesn’t really apply as server. The catfish does still imply of being fooled / manipulated by someone, so perhaps I’ll still be deceived by someone and it’s level of betrayal is in between minor / serious. Or if something unexpected does happen, it’ll be minor and now “expected” Or or
since we did started packing to move and anytime I have the suitcases out — & my cat’s become very stressed out since they hate when I’m gone for even a whole day, much less the suitcases signifying the week of eternity — The “Catfish Shark” really represents my cats (I have two) displeasure and frustration towards me.
